Is there somebody in England willing to buy todays Sunday Times for me? I live in Holland and will obviously pay for the paper plus postage. Let me know, thanks!

I can see if I can pick up another :)

Anyone going to the museum tomorrow evening and wanna meet up?

If loads of tickets do were to pop up today, I'm always willing to jump on the first available Eurostar. Since it will start so late, I could still make it if I take a 6pm Eurostar out of Brussels. Never gonna happen, but I can still dream. :)

Were you just going to have a look or do you have a ticket?

Hi, I just walked around and there are no people queuing for the gig yet, just for the museum

Hi, I just walked around and there are no people queuing for the gig yet, just for the museum

This is definitely wayyy too early to start queuing even for a diehard Coldplayer :)

Are there people like me who still periodically check the ticket link?

Even this time is a bit early to start queuing :)

Well, I've experienced some very early queuing many times, I wouldn't be surprised

Were you just going to have a look or do you have a ticket?

I don't have a ticket but was gonna go and see if any become available. I know it's a slim chance but it's worth trying

C'mon...i'm as disappointed as anyone of us certainly is.

But...life goes on, do never give up, if i would actually live in London i would definetily meet&greet some of you next monday...if not for the gig, well then for a couple of pints and knowing different people/experiences from Coldplayers.

Now i'm sitting on the BA plane from Portugal to London..and unfortunately/most surely i will return next monday with no Coldplay concert and without having the chances many of you have: go to the museum, shoutout loud to crew members, meet during the afternoon and have fun, smile, sing along ORPHANHS in Trafalgar Square or along Oxford Street, have a drink 2gether....because this is it: everyday life!

Viva La Vida

....and do always remember: don't take life too seriously!

:sun:

You came all the way from Portugal and don't have a ticket? Just wondered if to have managed to get one since you've been here? Let me know

Too bad that it seems not a single Coldplaying member got a ticket. Hopefully some lucky kind soul will record the evening and share it with us.

And i've only seen 2 people on twitter get a ticket, very strange

I think it's because it was advertised everywhere, national newspapers etc., rather than to those who had been signed up to the newsletter previously. For such a small and special show that would always lead to crazy demand. I like how they were able to prevent resales, however the ticket website was not ideal in my opinion. I had the dropdown to select tickets twice but there was no timer or anything so by the time I had selected a ticket and hit next I was told tickets were unavailable. With the page refreshing it was also not 1st come 1st served.

To all my fellow coldplayers hanging around the museum today, you are amazing people and i hope something good happens to you!! I was almost right there with you but i cancelled my flight from America. I am with you in spirit!

Yes, very strange indeed. I know it was kind of heavily advertised, but still... . You either had to buy the album or dig a bit deeper and see the "regular" registration link. But I was at the Exeter castle gig in 2009, the Royal Court in Liverpool in 2010 and Cologne for the GS gig. Those were also small gigs, heavily advertised and even easier to register for a presale link. All those venues were filled with loads of people from Coldplaying. Royal Albert Hall was difficult, but I imagine demand was even higher and still quite a few people managed to go.

I think the only logical explanation is that way fewer tickets were actually on sale than ever before and the venue is even smaller than previous "small" gigs.

I hope at some point they'll do what U2 is doing like Bauk mentioned a few pages earlier. Have a fanclub with a paying subscription. Give us something small each year in return (a vinyl single, a booklet, a fanclub only download, etc.) and first dibs at every presale. Coldplay will make some extra money from this and a lot more die hard fans would be able to go. I realize this is not their top priority and they don't owe us anything, but it would be a nice gesture. :)

But a lovely way to repay the loyalty of Coldplayers like us and I for one would buy into this.

I could be thinking of the wrong concert, but did you hear Coldplay’s cover of Happy Christmas/War is Over? It’s one of my favorite live performances.

Yeah it was. I did not know there was a (decent) live recording of that!

Who is the fan holding a sign out front of the venue who got a ticket?!? How did you do it??
