Brilliant show; incredibly lively and full of energy throughout...with a setlist almost identical to the Toronto show....except with the wonderfully nice surprise of an Acoustic "In My Place" The audience sang along with the a generous young lady who supposedly had donated 350,000(?) dollars to charity for the opportunity to take the stage with Mr. Martin and Co, and give lead vocals to IMP. Otherwise, a vibrant and wonderfully played, uptempo show that continued to showcase both Moses and World Turned Upside Down as "new" material. Questionable as to why so many felt like sitting throughout, but all that were present were richly rewarded with a tremendously ene…

  3. wow guys. that was something else last night. i wish it had never ended. i really like the venue. it was so small, any seat was a good seat! coldplay fans are definitely a different crowd for me. i'm use to crazy girls and parents escoting them (lol. oh boyband). when the show started and i went nuts, i realized i was the only one moving around at all. it was weird. i know coldplay really isn't a moving and shaking crowd, but i would have thought i would have seen more people at least bopping their heads. :? two minutes before coldplay took the stage these two huge guys sat in the seats in front of me in my friend. we're not exactly the talest people so we were s…

The concert was great. I had bad seats, but got to watch some of the concert from the entrance of one of the side aisles. That was a great view. Did they play less songs this time than the last concert they played at UIC? I thought he talked much less to the crowd yesterday too. It was still a great concert, I just wish I would have gotten better seats. How was the floor if anyone saw it from there? Wish they would have played Green Eyes. Did anyone get to see any of the members after the concert? :o

Does anyone know how to record this (via Radio or Internet) and turn it into an MP3??, I would really like to burn a CD from this show since I will be in attendance. I promise it will only be used to build my personal collection. If you can help me out reply or e-mail me at: [email protected]

  16. My dear friends, Last night I went to the Coldplay concert in San Diego. I had GA seats. We made the two hour trip and got there around noon. We immediately went to the Cox Arena to check out if there were any lines already being formed. When we arrived there were about 4 people in line already. So, I told my husband that I wanted to wait it out. He went off to get lunch and hang out for a while. Meanwhile, I sat there for a good 7 hours to guarantte that I would get a good spot in the front. After all that waiting, they finally open the doors and start distributing wristbands. My husband and I took off running to the front. We got a spot slightly to the left of …

Hi guys! Well, it is over..not one hour has yet passed since the boys left the stage in Edmonton. The show (as predicted) was absolutely awesome. I was squished up to the person in front of me the ENTIRE time, but managed to be no more than 10 feet from the stage at all times. The highlights of the show were Jonny playing the harmonica, Chris singing sk8er boi by Avril Lavigne, the fact that they played "One I Love" and me...staring at Guy. HE WAS WEARING THAT TIGHT BROWN BUTTON DOWN SHIRT!!! OMG!!! I couldn't believe it. I'd insist that he looked my way a couple of times, but, nah you wouldn't believe me (but he did!) Even my fiance laughed at my pre-teen stupidity …

Hello All: I am new to the Coldplaying forums (this is my first post. . . duh) and I wanted to tell everyone the *amazing* time I had Saturday night at the Coldplay concert here in Los Angeles. (actually, it was Hollywood, but whatever . . .) This is my SECOND time seeing the band. The first time was in January when they gave a free concert on Hollywood Blvd-- they only played five songs or so because it was for a tv show, but I remember being blown away. Well, mulitply that time A THOUSAND and that is what their Saturday show was like: THEY TORE IT UP! They played all the songs of Rush of Blood that I loved (Except Warning Sign!! Grrr. . .) of course they…

I think that the two support acts for Coldplay are fantastic. I bought the Music's album a while ago and it just makes me want to boogie on down...and my dad loves it becasue it reminds him of his "mispent youth in the 70's." !!!! But i think Eisley are out of this world!! Everyone should checkout their website, because they post there a lot, and their dad maintains the site, and they have an official coldplay tour journal going, and it's sooo funny!! And the girls in the band are as giddy about meeting the Coldplay lads as any of us would be...the lead singer Sherri wrote..."what does one wear when meeting Chris Martin exactly...?!!" Aww bless! But seriously, visi…

Who was at the Edmonton Show? What a night. There were about 4000+ fans piled into the Shaw Centre with bodies totally squeezing every space to the stage. "The Music" did a killer intro for the night...and the wait until Coldplay was worth it. They played all the greats (leaving "Trouble", "Clocks" for the encore), with a new intro to "Yellow", including "Amsterdam", and doing a great rendition of "you're the one I love". Oh...and the harmonica solo was great! Backstage people handed out some back stage passes like they were candy. Unfortunately, I missed receiving one. I know two different groups of people who received passes by being Chris' waiter and sho…
