Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love

I'm pretty suprised that LIJ will be the next single... It might be good, track but not that good.. If we say Violet Hill was the first single and Viva La Vida the second. Then Lovers in Japan is nothing compared to the third singles from the previous albums..

From the first time I played the whole album through, once Lovers In Japan came on I had to check my player wasn't on shuffle because it sounded so much like an Editors song. Does anyone else agree? Can they hear the similarity? There just seems to be some kind of Editor-esque feel to it, particularly the first few seconds, very much to those tracks off An End Has A Start. Just curious if others have heard it because it's a thought I always get once LIJ starts. Either way, I love the song. In fact it's one of my favs off the album :D

Am i the only one who thinks this song is going to be an AWESOME combination of Sparks, Green Eyes and A Message with a little bit of Fix You thrown in the mix???? Personally, i've always been a sucker for Coldplay ballads and straight up love songs like Sparks and Yellow, they just hit the right note with me and after hearing the sheer incredibleness (dunno if that's actually a word hehe) of Lovers in Japan, i'm drooling in anticipation for Reign Of Love....

I was thinking, that I think that the song from Greys Anatomy is actually the song "Reign Of Love"........ what do you think ?.. can anyone point me to the reviews of the new album that have discriptions of the tracks ?

I adore this song. I said this in another thread, I think it's the perfect filler for an album full of heavy melodic tracks. It's simple and sweet, and it's really easy to listen to. One of my favourite moments on the new record.

Hey guys. I just saw this short article that has a link to what they call "lovers in japan/reign of love", however, this is the same song that was in the Grey's Video. I only wonder if its different because it does sound slightly different in quality terms. Nevertheless, it should be only Lovers in Japan, not Reign of Love.
