I prefer Midnight to Magic. So I'm hoping the rest of the album will follow the sound of Midnight and Magic is just the one-off slow number on the album.

I think that Ghost Stories theme is white magic (4 first songs) against black magic / sorcery (tracks 5 to 9).

Midnight (blue) is a color name. It's not like Yellow, or green or blue, but it's as color as cyan, or turquoise, or fuchsia....

Maybe this is the end of the album title = song title run - every LP release is named after an actual song. So either "ghost stories" is just the title of the album as a concept, OR there are b-sides to come. By the former I mean all of the songs are going to follow the Midnight route - sleepy, haunting vocals and minimalist backing. A lot of atmospheric guitar, very little bass.

I guess we don't have much to speculate now, we have a release date, tracklist and artwork.... let's go to the LP7 thread.

Can't wait to listen to the boys talking about the story of the album, their inspiration, working with Epworth, etc...

I really hope they release this album on vinyl. I've got every vinyl LP so far, and I'd be bummed to have a hole in the collection.

Funny they announce this around the time of the biggest entertainment event, it's like they want this to be hidden away.
