Quite true actually... This could mean that they are still working on the album (whether they are still recording something at this point or are just doing some finishing touches) or maybe Rik just wanted to tease us fans... will make us eager to wait (or could be the opposite).

I don't remember her ever saying that... perhaps you are thinking of the band's comments about AHFOD being the day while Ghost Stories is the night?

Yeah I think I already listened to that interview. She discussed how it feels like to collaborate with Coldplay and future plans as well.

Thanks, I just looked and indeed Mila Furstova did mention that AHFOD and GS are opposites...

I think that would be good news for the albums' naysayers, then. Of course, it could mean a million different things, but anyone honestly expecting a Ghost Stories 2.0 was gonna be off the mark a bit.

 

EDIT: Here's the link to the audio. (In the final three minutes or so.) She says it's "very, very different" from Ghost Stories.

That's possible. The artwork of GS is absolutely gorgeous. Maybe the band wanted something with a similar style (day to GS night).

Sooo . . . how long does the mixing process last? Is it a thing of the guys recording a song and then immediately turning around and mixing/completing it? Or are all the songs recorded and then mixed at the end one after another?
