Slightly disappointed I have to say. It's ok, but nothing to write home about. The production really doesn't do this song a favour, and I really dislike the Ocean's-esque boat bleep things it has going on. It really reminds me of a slightly happier GS song.

I think it's beautiful! The piano is extremely lovely and the rawness of Chris's voice is actually quite nice. The guitars towards the end are also great, very X&Yish. I can see why Chris keeps talking about how AHFOD is the culmination of all their other works. You can hear every album's unique style in each of these songs.

The production is horrible and Gwenyths parts are cringe worthy. The song itself is very, very average.

I like it. I don't think it's anything special, so it's not a standout I'd listen to over and over like Up&Up but in the context of the album, I think it will sound really good!

It's a lovely balad in my opinion. Much nicer melody than a lot on GS..

Its a good song.. not stand out. i think its because its over produced. The way he is singing... personally it sounds like he was singing on a demo.

 

Lyrics i like though and the structure of the song... i think the live version will be more stripped back.

I was waiting for a more up-beat song, but I like it very much. It's not their best song but it's definitely a great and beautiful song. And the lyrics and Jonnys guitarsolos are great!

I wouldnt go as far as to say that it's better than Warning Sign but i loved it, it's a beautiful song, it almost made me cry when I first listened to it :')

Agree with that, even though I'm not the biggest fan of Warning Sign myself. Everglow is awfully generic.

Another sweet ballad to add to Coldplay's discography. I like it. It's soothing, sweet and a little sad.

I purposefully didn't listen to Everglow when it came on, just to leave another new track to discover when the album is released, but now the temptation to listen is really great...

By the way, Zane Lowe should be the only person allowed to interview the band, because nobody does it as well as him! :)

I suppose even if they would have released warning sign , the oldplayers would still be hating it just because it is off the new album.
