I absolutely love it. Is it the AROBTTH Coldplay that I'll always love the most? No. Is it the most creative thing they've ever released? Definitely not. But it's full of colour and joy, and I feel like they've perfected the whole very well produced pop thing now. I was smiling the whole way throughout that, and as long as music makes me feel something then I'm all for it. Welcome back boys.

I missed the guys, it was good seeing them and the guy from space seemed really nice!

I had a big smile on my face throughout the whole song, which I think is Coldplay's goal with this lol. I think it will easily get stuck in my head on repeat if I listen to it a few more times, I especially loved the ending of the song. 

can we talk about how thankful we all should be that the woah oh isnt as obnoxious as it is in the song then it was on tiktok

I'll also add that the lyrics don't stand out as being so bad in the context of the song. Sure, they aren't incredible but the melody is so strong that it makes up for them. Also, bonus points for choreographed Chris!

I am smiling throughout the whole song and the overall vibe and the final chorus are just amazing. Can't wait for the rest of the album

Having listened a few times, I would bet that this is the album opener (and if not, it is preceded by a short track like Sunrise/Church).

All about it screams that this is beginning something, setting up the atmosphere for the rest of the album.

Now for the song, it feels so different to me. I can hear the HLH and Birds influences on it, yet it feels so different from those two. I think is the chorus and that small synth noise on the back giving it a 'space' feeling different from X&Y, and different from the colorful Mylo Xyloto and dreamy AHFOD. Like you're on a journey through space

Anyways, I do love the chorus and the background sound. And that final crescendo at the end takes me out of this world

Since the preview of Higher Power came out I was afraid I wouldn't appreciate the song very much. Well, I was right. Unfortunately I think this new album will have an AHFOD vibe and AHFOD is my least favourite album by Coldplay.

In the end, that's ok. The guys should do what they feel it's comfortable for them. I still love this band so much and they deserve all the happiest things in the world!

Hope I can appreciate some songs of their new project in the future ??

Even though I know English, cannot wait for the official lyrics.

Thought this song was very catchy. Unsure how I feel if I can properly rate it right now, need to listen to it more. 

Finally!. It's not a bad song, but I remember the very first time I listened "Paradise". I considered it real garbage...   until I heard the live version. Then I loved the song.. and still I consider that the live version is another world compared with the studio version.

Something similar I had with Higher Power. I follow Coldplay since the beginnings...  they are and will be a huge influence for me, so, I'm waiting the live version for feeling such unique power that Coldplay give us always!

Higher Power, boy I was not excepting this... 

It reminds me so much of Ghost Stories, but a Happy Ghost Stories, (maybe it’s the synth that gives it this empty, or space feel, I think someone already mentioned here),with the best qualities of AHFOD sprinkled on top. I like it, because if this is the sound of their single (the most comercial song from the album)... it means we can get some cool, special and even different songs on the album!!!!

I absolutely love this single within its context, 80s synth vibes, very "Dancing in the dark" by Springsteen, which HLS and Birds were also inspired by.

It's definitely an amazing song, when it comes to pop Coldplay, this is definitely their peak so far, a little bit like a better produced MX song. Definitely miles above AHFOD.

Then again I am biased, I am a whore for anything 80s adjacent so this song falls right in that bracket!

Listen, I'm not crying..... YOU'RE crying. Holy shit dudes this song is a banger and I can't wait to hear the rest of the album
