I was watching the U2 World Aids Day Concert with Chris Martin in it and I noticed something during a close up... He appears to have his wedding ring back on! Any thoughts, guys?

Hello Coldplayers, I am a long time reader but first time poster. The reason I am writing today is because I have a favor to ask. I am in ticketing industry and am looking to go out on the road with a major tour in 2015. Obviously, Coldplay is the first one that comes to mind. I am looking for any opportunities in a ticketing related production assistant type of position. Where you all (hopefully) can help is with contacts. Does anyone know someone with the band's tour management? Know someone who works for the band? Works with the band? Anything at all? I just need an email address and possibly an e-introduction to try and get on their radar. I'd be happy to provi…

So I was listening to World Turned upside down, and the words are this: X&Y, the land sea rivers trees the stars the sky and later he says you, and me, So, X&Y means You&Me "You and me are floating on a tidal wave" Along with that, every song has the words "you" and "me" in it, except the following: Twisted Logic Fix you a message the hardest part each of these songs has "you" and "I" in them Idk. Just thought of this.

  11. Stumbled upon this interview with Mila Fürstová at a Czech late night show (sort of our version of David Letterman)... it was a special shot in London with "famous" Czechs living in the UK as guests [video=youtube;wNt0Y4eKuro] She talks about her work with Coldplay quite a lot... some of the interesting bits: -she shows some of her concept art for Magic artwork...especially at the beginning of the video -the etching is done on a zinc plate - first a special wax is applied and then the whole metal plate is "blackened" by fire, subsequently she scrubs in the artwork with a special needle. When done, she puts the whole thing into some sort of acid to fix ev…

  14. I'm wondering in this day and age why Coldplay doesn't produce a bluray disc option with a TrueHD or DTS-MA surround sound option of their original albums (not the live albums - of course they have those in surround). I think this would be a nice option if done in good taste and not gimmicky sounding. Pink Floyd's new instrumental release Endless River is a good example as it sounds absolutely incredible on a good home theater system. I could imagine Ghost Stories would have been equally impressive. Of course the 2 channel option would always be available for those uninterested. I may pose this question to Oracle unless someone here can point to an interview or oth…

Stolen from Sparky! Chris Martin will lend a hand to his good pal, Bob Geldof once again as Band Aid 30 (based from the UK) will unite many of the big names in music for the re-recording of Do They Know It’s Christmas? This time, the 30th anniversary of the Band Aid track will feature not the Phil Collins, Paul Weller and George Michael [video=youtube;bjQzJAKxTrE] but our very own Chris Martin alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, One Direction and Emeli Sande. The cause this time round is to fight the globally emerging virus which has spread from West Africa, Ebola. The music industry is certainly a different beast altogether from 30 years ago and t…

  18. ok, here you can post your fav cp songs and what is awesome about them. Here i go: "World turned upside down" the best part is the end. "and you don't know that you've been born - can't see the calm until the storm - can't see your right side from your wrong - (best part) can't see the wave, your riding on I also love x&y because its just awesome when it gets to the "you and me are floating on a tidal wave" and thats cool because chris martin likes surfing, which is why he wrote crests of waves. 42 is just that song that is so epic, the build up to "you thought you might be a ghost" is just so awesome.

Hi Guys, sorry for asking this, however I've been a regular on this forum for about 6 years but unfortunately I was unable to remember my old account details :( anyway! I need some help, if anyone can provide some I would be so eternally grateful. basically, me and my girlfriend went to see Coldplay (present by me) in 2008 at the MEN Arena, the performance of Lovers in Japan is still to both of us the most beautiful thing we have ever seen. at the time we didn't think about collecting some of the confetti (Fools! I know). anyway, we have been together in a relationship for close to 5 years now and I truly believe she is the one for me and I plan on propos…

  20. Hi :) I was just wondering, do many of you guys listen to Coldplay everyday? I do, and have been have watching footage I've found online from the Under 1 Roof gig almost everyday since I went to the gig! I just can't seem to get enough of Coldplay  I hope I don't over-do it and get bored of them before the next album (I feel horrible even thinking that LOL). I'm sure it'll never happen though :P x

  22. Interesting article posted on Billboard yesterday! Jon Hopkins Talks Career Renaissance & Collaborating With Coldplay By Matt Medved | November 11, 2014 3:25 PM EST Link It's midafternoon in Berlin, and Jon Hopkins is already sound-checking. Surfacing for air from his self-described "weird maze of stuff" onstage, the lanky British producer greets me with a sheepish grin and a cordial handshake. "I hope people know where the show is," he says. "I couldn't see any signs anywhere." We sit and sip water by a window at Bi Nuu, the cozy Kreuzberg club he's headlining that night. It's situated beneath a U-Bahn station, providing a constant soundtrack of shri…

It's been a life changing year for one of Ellen's favorite rock stars in the world, and you do not want to miss this exclusive interview. CHRIS MARTIN is here! The Coldplay frontman is sitting down with Ellen for his first U.S. interview before the release of the band's new album "Ghost Stories"! The world relishes every flirting falsetto, piano hymn and soaring melody from Coldplay, and Chris is here to share secrets on their brand new project, which is topping iTunes charts before it even hits the streets! Influenced by love, loss, new waves in music and trademark styles, Chris has got so much to tell Ellen about life in the studio, life on the road and everywhere in…

You should check them out if they are playing nearby you! Great tribute band, and they also play a few songs from Ghost Stories. Talked to the singer and guitarist and they are just big Coldplay fans, trying to sound like Coldplay. It was a fun night for me (: [video=youtube;CfREQ2SDDlA] http://coldplace.co.uk At first I was a bit skeptic. Why see a band that just copies another act. Of course it doesn't compare to the real show. For me it was just really cool to see fans trying to play the songs just like the band. What do you think about tribute bands? And what do you think of Coldplace?
