Someone described it as that, thus. Discuss your thoughts about the upcoming wilderness, what you will do, and who do you expect to be the first few people to become Missing In Action in this forestry time? SHOCK HORROR!

So I'm going to New York by myself for a few days. Staying at random people's apartments. Then I'm taking the train to Bryan Ohio at the north end of the state. It's about 180 miles from the family farm, so I'm going to have to hitchhike into town and surprise my family. Then go hunting for a few days. After that I'm not sure if I'll have enough money to take the train all the way back to Orlando, so I might have to take it to South Carolina and hitch home. I'm thinking of taking out a life insurance policy to make my family happy since my parents are on the hook for a few thousand in student loans. For 15 a month I can get insured for 50,000. Should I?

Hey everyone! If you don't know me, or forgot me already, I'm Kalena. :) I used to be on here a lot but I got really busy and just stopped. I'm best friends with Christina, Megalomania, if that rings any bells. Well anyway, I just wanted to say I'm back. :)

On Thursday November 10, I took off up to Auckland for a week as there were things I wanted to do that I didn't get to do when I was up there for a weekend just over 2 years ago. Gee I had such a busy time during that week as I was out and about every day. Thursday: After checking in at the hotel, I wandered down to the ferry building tp fetch my tickets, then went to the Explore NZ kiosk to confirm the booking for a trip I was going on. Friday: Went by ferry over to Waiheke Island and went on the Waiheke Explorer tour. Then in the early evening I met up with a couple of friends at the hotel and spent a few hours with them. Saturday: Travelled by bus to the…

I haven't been on here in a couple of years so sorry if this is in the wrong place, but just wanted to post my Youtube link to a cover of Talk I recorded in a very different key & style. And made a very bizarre video for it using the PC game "The Movies" ! Check it out, much crazier than a giant robot!

I'm going to a big costume party next week and the theme is GLITTER. I have no idea what I should dress up as :bigcry:. Last year two people who dressed up as fork & knife won the prize for best costume and one guy I met was dressed up as a magpie since they like shiny things. I didnt dress up as anything last year cause I was too poor to buy stuff but now I wanna change that. Soo HELP PLEASE, who/what should I be? :wacky:

Been thinking about this recently as more and more people I know are having children. Personally I can't really imagine having kids. I feel really awkward around babies and toddlers. I don't like it if a friend or a family member leaves their child with me (even if it's just for a few minutes) because I'm scared that I'm gonna do something wrong that might put them in danger. When someone brings their child into work/ shows pictures of their child I often feel like I have to pretend that I like babies but I just don't find them cute and I'm not really interested. I almost feel guilty for not liking them but I just can't help it. I do find many of them cute when the…

:dozey: has a pretty self explanatory title, in a way is a sequel to the "Happy 9th Birthday to (mc_squared) Mark". Just talk here I guess, and you better not let this thread die, or you'll hurt Clint's feelings :P

Sticking with the weird theme that seems to be hitting The Lounge today :P When 28-year old Artyom Sidorkin underwent surgery to remove a suspected cancerous tumor that was causing him extreme chest pain, medical staff in Izhevsk in the Urals, Russia, were startled to see a tiny tree growing inside Sidorkin’s lung. The five-centimeter fir tree branch was discovered when surgeon, Vladimir Kamashev, took part of the man’s lung for a biopsy. Dr. Kamashev recalled: “I thought I was hallucinating; I asked my assistant to have a look: ‘Come and see this — we’ve got a fir tree here.’ He nodded in shock. I blinked three times as I was sure I was seeing things.” Doctors think h…
