Is that (in your all's experiences) for the most part bullshit? Can it even realistically be done on a long-term basis? Cuz two of my friends have been dating for a year and a half and realized about two weeks ago that they have to cut the relationship off cuz it isn't working for them, but both of them still want to be around each other and stay friends. However most of the people I've seen go through trying to stay friends just go through like an awkward phase and then gradually separate and never talk to each other again because they feel it would be too awkward? But I haven't seen enough people try it to be sure...

I thought my parents were going to be on vacation for another week, but I just found out that they are getting back in town tomorrow, so I will be seeing my dad on Father's Day after all. I thought I would have at least another week to shop, but alas now I don't. I have no clue what to get him! He recently had a birthday and he had me get him a gift card to Lowe's so I don't want to do that again. I don't want to get him clothes either, I do that too often and he has enough. I just don't know. Any advice?

I am against it, it's glorified racism in my eyes and I think it's terrible that people should act accordingly to the country they were born in. Your nationality is nothing to be proud of as it's not an achievement, it's something which happened to you by chance. You cannot be proud of something like your nationality IMO

When you think about it, if some guy were to say, "I love that guy IN A TOTALLY PLATONIC WAY OF COURSE," what he thinks he's talking about is "WE'RE TOTALLY BROS," but when you think about who Plato actually was, he just had sex with boys ALL THE TIME, and the origin of the phrase "Platonic love" presumably comes from his schools and etc that he set up where he loved all these dudes and taught them how to be philosophers, but he totally had sex with ALL OF THEM.
