Rainy Day Posted November 4, 2015 Share Posted November 4, 2015 Does the new artwork around the Flower of Life make anyone else think about a blend between the artwork typical of Monty Python and perhaps a Beatles record such as "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" or even "The Magical Mystery Tour"? I saw someone point out the Monty Python similarity earlier, but there is something very Beatles-esque about the updated version. It would be interesting to know if either were inspirational to the band when having the artwork crafted, as either way you look, it's incredibly British. I might have to rethink my expectations for this album! :D How I think of it: Hmm I think the new artwork is really interesting, but from a mere aesthetic standpoint it's too childish and colourful for me. I would have liked the sleek black background better. However it gives me hope that the album will be more experimental than GS and maybe less mainstream-oriented.
