Former Jam frontman Paul Weller has launched a scathing attack on the music of Coldplay and pop newcomer James Blunt, describing their songs as "fucking bland". The songwriter is delighted his children are as passionate about music as Weller was during his teen years, but thinks much of today's music lacks the vigour of music from past decades. Coldplay are to release a new single in the Netherlands next month, which is much sooner than expected. 'Talk' will be the 3rd single to be taken off their latest album 'X&Y'. Today it has been revealed that the Dutch 3-disc single release of 'Talk' will be backed with either 9 or 10 exclusive live tracks, recorded at this year's gig at the Gelredome in Arnhem, Netherlands. Coldplay's classic single 'Clocks' was released in the exact same way, which helped making it their biggest hit in the Netherlands to date. I just watched smallville from thursday night (season 5 episode 2) and as Lana and Clark get all 'loved up' near the end a Large edited portion of A Message is played.... Nothing really, I know, I was just suprised at the length of the songs usage.

Did anyone see it tonight? Well, there was a joke about Coldplay in it: Liz from Atomic Kitten and Bill Bailey had to do the intro to Clocks for the drummer from Feeder and he had to guess it. He didn't get it but the other team did. Then Mark Lamarr said "You heard Clocks by Coldplay there. Before Chris Martin met Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay were on tour they had a no-girlfriends rule. A rule or a coincidence?" Shocking! As if Coldplay couldn't get girlfriends. Eeeh the nerve... :P

I've been pondering about how to bring the actual band to the board. I'm sure we could put up like posters and such near where they play, they would no doubt see them.

Ok, weird question... ofcourse everybody knows the video of The Scientist is running backwards. And Chris sings forwards, right? But I know there also is a second version of the video, where Chris sings backwards, and the video is running forwards. I'm so curious of this version... does anybody knows how to get to it? Cos it's on the single DVD of The Scientist, I know, but I don't know if you can get to that in the Netherlands. Anybody knows? :)

We all have been coming up with ideas for the shirts, I just wanted to make a poll about the back of the shirt. If you would like the back to be a list of all of the members names, we could give a time limit for when your name can be added to the list.
