Hey all! It took quite a lot of time to get right, but I created an Instagram filter to use as a filter for your Instagram stories. The filter adds a b/w grain effect, just as the small Spotify videos for Everyday Life. It also adds the sun and moon logo in the bottom center of the image. I'm not sure if I am allowed to publish it, and getting permission from Coldplay will be really hard to get, so that's why I only have it in test mode. So according to Wikipedia, Scott from Frightened Rabbit has a songwriting credit on Champion Of The World for Everyday Life. Wondering if any Coldplayers out there have any further information on this? As important as Scott was to me, this news shook my core a bit.

Since 'Everyday Life' ends kind of abruptly and softly, to liven it up a little bit whilst on tour, it would be cool to see the band transition immediately to the outro of Everything's Not Lost: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMkCkPzbLYI:242 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NLT4dkrZ5s:197 And then Chris could change-up the lyrics like he does, "I know that Every Day 's Not Lost!" Just a fun Idea ... turn it into an epic anthem. It sounds like the songs chords would sync-up well at those respective portions.

Having listened through all of the songs several times and reading through the lyrics on genius I have evidence to believe that this whole album thematically is strongly about christian faith - which CM might be rediscovering (since he seems to have roots in it from his childhood) Songs like « when i need a friend », « broken », « daddy », « church », « old friend » and « everyday life » all point into this direction lyric wise. What do you think?

Anyone know what type of shirt he wears? His shirt sleeves always seem to be the perfect length!

So far we have Chris wearing his torn t-shirt (surely on purpose) and no love button because love sign is printed on the t-shirt: he's got sun and moon signs on his pants, and I think also on his guitar strap you see "...and heart and consciousness" Shoes are nike custom, what he wears anyway? Band otherwise dressed casually....

I was just wondering about this, as Coldplay seems to have gone back to taking a bigger break that they took between releasing their best albums instead of that year break between GS and AHFOD. Another thing that has me thinking about this is the fact that Chris has obviously gone through a ton of things since AHFOD got released, and he could write songs about those topics. Honestly, there could be some loss of hope, as they are supposed to hatch something new, but what do you all think, or what are some details I missed?

With Everyday Life fully confirmed, the inevitable leak window has officially opened. After a post in the LP8 thread seemed to have good feedback, I thought I'd go ahead and start this thread. Are Coldplay working on solo projects or are they busy with writing a traditional (40-45 mins long (since VIVA era)) Coldplay-album? Chris said that A Head Full Of Dreams (LP7) felt like it was the end of a circle, a chapter. By now, does it mean they are working on an eighth studio album? Yesterday I was reading about how Chris traveled to Jerusalem very very recently, and I read something interesting... "Martin has visited Israel in the past in an attempt to set up a Coldplay concert that would be accessible to both Israelis and Palestinians... ...Reportedly, Coldplay has touring commitments for the next two years, so it doesn’t seem likely the band will play the concert he dreamed of here anytime soon."
