What Chris said about the song Everyday Life: "Everyday Life came from a couple of things; there’s a song called Church which our friend John Metcalfe did on strings, but didn’t really fit. Then I heard a song called Tal Uno and sometimes when you hear two songs, in your head, they have a Tinder date & make a new song." Vocal isolation of 'Church' was done via phase inversion with the official instrumental, along with additional transient noise reduction using Izotope RX 6. Mixing and arrangement with Logic Pro X. If some of you aren’t aware, Coldplay did a proper concert today in Amman which is really hard to find and they did other songs like yellow and stuff so it sounds really good. Does anyone know where I can find the broadcast for it as you will see in this vid of chord talking during the concert, he says it’s been broadcasted on Iheart in the US and really want to find it. Here we gonna talk about Everyday life's chart run: So far it looks bad in US they are behind Jason Aldean for #1 annd are only up for 80K for firstweek. What are they a second rate band? they should do more, whats up with their US fanbase? Have they lost that much fans in US?

Hi guys, I have a lot of thoughts about the album which I'd like to share- apologies if this is in the wrong place. I thought an individual thread would make sense because this is going to be pretty lengthy! 'Sunrise' is undoubtedly a beautiful opener to the album, and sets the tone really well for what is it to come. However, I've always found the opening tracks of Coldplay albums to be amongst my favourite (especially Politik- one of the best things they've ever done in my opinion), and perhaps the most crucial track of every album. So Flags... The bonus track for Everyday Life... I absolutely love this song. Creeping up to my top Coldplay songs. Just to clarify I am loving this new record. It's beautiful, heartbreaking, and full of life and love. On top of that they have something of Scott Hutchison on here which warms my heart. But I wish Flags was officially on this album. They could have found a spot. The whole world deserves to have it and I hope the band release it at some point. Meanwhile, Japan, please help the world out in the meantime. So as Everyday Life is a double album.... does that mean they plan to put out an album next year as well... or is this both the projected albums together?

So I've given the new album a few listens and I'm not that keen... It's not terrible... and there are some really good songs but some of the instrumentals and one song is basically a half-finished demo... I live the idea of bands doing a double album, but think maybe they'd been better paring it down... Most Coldplay albums are pretty lean affairs...

So Viva La Vida is and will always be my favorite album by the band and after hearing this record I could not stop thinking how much listening to this new music made me feel reminiscent of the wonder and excitement of the VLV era. With the recent leak of the lengths of each 'Everyday Life' track, I would like to share my thoughts on how this album will work. First of all, I don't think this is really the first time they've done a double album; instead, I would give this label to 'X&Y'. It's a symmetrical album with 6 songs on each side, being the 'X' side the more pessimistic and the 'Y' side the more optimistic. Everyday Life use this same format structure with 'Sunrise' and 'Sunset', with the only difference that now each side has a total of 8 songs. Next we have 'Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends', which is an album that has 9 full songs and 4 short songs (3 of them as hidden …
