Advice needed I came back from the pub about a month ago and my housemate was fast asleep face down on the sofa. she is quite cute so i lifted up the duvet to see she was naked. Anyway, as a joke, and I dont know why I did it at the time, they were just laying on the side, I put a couple of chocolate buttons in between her arse cheeks and then went to bed. So a few days later, she mentioned it to me thinking she had had an "accident" in the night and he didnt know anything about it. It quite amused me, but didnt own up, and I have done it twice since Anyway she is under the doctor having all sorts of tests, they cant find whats wrong and I dont know how …

  2. Started by Prince Myshkin,

Don't you just love them? On Monday my Dad got his car bumped whilst we were out. We were in a shop and some people came in and told us (as they'd seen us get out of it). My Dad went out and jogged down the street to where they were, at a traffic light waiting to turn. They claimed that they were in the process of turning around in order to come back. Anyway my Dad and the driver (a 19 year old with his Uncle) swapped details and it was decided that my Dad would get a quote from the garage and get back to him with a price. Because the car is expensive (Dad's mid life crisis purchase) it will have to go back to the dealer to get a specialised part as my Dad wants the…

When they get high brow, or anywhere near complicated, don't you always feel that it becomes people just repeating the arguments of people who know more, or who they think know more? Stuff's so fucking complicated and multi layered. It's all fucking difficult. Half the time the people with all the information are speculating, or interpreting it in a way that reinforces their previously held beliefs. That doesn't make it wrong, of course, but yeah.

  4. Next game is at: TBA Invite link will be posted around 15 minutes prior. It's been discussed over and over that events in the Lounge haven't happened in ages, so allow me to try to remedy that http://www.boardgame-online.com/ An absurd little multiplayer "RPG" game that I found today. Very entertaining and I can see it being a lot of fun in large groups, so what about the 76,171 of us doing something fun together? Post if you think you'll make it, you want to arrange a better time, or if you'd like to suggest some other games/websites we can try in the future. The weekend is definitely an option if you'd like to show up. :nice: Hope this thread won…

I think I have it between greeny browns and browny greens (I'm fine when there isn't any ambiguity - so I see the traffic light as green). Anyway, I was reading up on it recently and found out that there is such a thing as a tetrachromats. As a species, humans are trichromatic. But there is a polymorphism in the red pigment, so not everybody has the same. It is possible for a female to have two different red receptors - say, orange-red and yellow-red. Tests have been done on retinas from an eye bank and found that some had the gene expression for four types of receptor. This was present in about 1 in 200 women. After carrying out genetic tests on people who say they ha…

I would genuinely like to know your style of dancing, I am also prepared for sarcastic videos of funny dances though:P I like dancing to northern soul, so this: kind of dance Never been to a northern soul disco though, not sure if they even have them anywhere anymore :( I like dancing to ska music too. Are you more into street, ballet, ballroom, do you have a favourite dance? I must add: I hate routine dances, like the ones dance groups do, I think dance should be made up on the spot to the feel of the music :P

  9. http://www.newscientist.com/embedded/voice-age-quiz I was never particularly close. For the young ones I was more than three years out and from the older ones at least eight years out, sometimes almost two decades. How did you do?

Okay, so I've been wanting to do some type of "Ask me" thing for quite sometime, but not just here at the Coldplay forums. I'll be taking questions that will be asked via Facebook, Twitter and this thread. I will be posting, and answering them all in a blog post, coming next week, regardless of how little/much questions are asked. Don't worry! I'll still answer the questions you ask me in this thread! You may ask me anything you like, but please do make the questions unique and intriguing. I don't want generic questions like "What's your favorite food?". :P Anyways, ask away!

Not sure if I've made this thread before. It was something I was interested in a year ago but I may not have been posting at that point. My current job has brought it back to the forefront. I couldn't find a similar thread through the search bar so figured I'd start this one up. Not sure how much participation there will be, though. So yes, hyper reality. It's a wide ranging concept and I was introduced to it thanks to a podcast called The Big Ideas, which basically summarises philosophies of different people (from Plato to Rousseau to Nietzsche to some lesser known people) in around ten to fifteen minutes. I recommend it to people for starting points on different phil…

  15. Ok so here's my problem: there's this guy on my school bus who's a year older than me and a couple of times recently he's been looking at me and the first time I noticed this he gave me a really broad sorta grin type smile! We've never spoken to each other before (unless you count the time when me, two other girls, two guys and the guy in talking about here were talking about how sees one Muse are!) we don't go to the same school and we don't use the same bus stop. I know he likes comic books and rock music (no boys I know like to rock music, they're all like"innit man jayz". Ugh, shut up!!) Anyway, that's my problem. Should I try to talk to him or just wait and see if he…

  16. It's 4th of July, so why not? Vol. 14 It's Really Unnecessary to Have a Barbecue for Every Party You Host By Anthony Romero 1 Why is it that every single year I get invited to Tim's 4th of July barbecue? Seriously, is it really necessary to host a barbecue for every single damn day he sees a level of significance in, including the day we celebrate America's independence? From what I can remember, he invited me to the barbecues he had in the past for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, his "I lost my virginity" party, makeout parties (I didn't attend this one because there were no guys to makeout with, though.), birthday parties and Mary's going away party. Ti…

  25. I haven't been overseas, yet, so I don't know as much as I'd like to. This may sound like a dumb question. I was watching the Top Gear episode where they take a road trip through Florida(literally right through where I live) and they seemed to mock parts of Miami for how dangerous they are. I believe the host laughed about being told not to go south of some street because they would get killed. So, is that something unheard of in London or other major cities in England? I always thought every major city had extremely dangerous neighborhoods. I remember when I first started driving and someone gave me directions in Orlando. The guy pointed at the train tracks and said 'don…
