Coldplay Live

So, we know Coldplay's live sets have been pretty predictable since a few years. During a tour, they'd usually play the same setlist with a few changes and additions throughout the tour (see 2011 summer festival tour). This set comprises almost the entire new album (Viva La Vida in the previous case) with some greatest hits added to the whole. During the summer festival tour there was some space for more songs as MX was not entirely played, but there's a big chance that for the actual MX tour, starting in Europe this December, older songs like Shiver and Life Is For Living will have to be removed so more songs of the album can be added. So with the European tour coming, there will very likely be some changes in the setlists the shows are longer in duration than the festival shows. Probably 22/26 songs. According to the website http://www.infoconcert.com/news/cold...011--5450.html Coldplay will do a gig in Paris on December 13. From my experience from other announcements this information published here was ALWAYS correct. For example for the Viva La Vida tour, for U2, Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers and George Michael gigs in France they always had the correct dates and venues. So I dare to say that December 13 is fixed. There is a gap in the programme at the Bercy, so the date seems to make sense. So we can expect annoucements of the dates and venues in Europe very soon. That's what I have to say. Glastonbury's crowd was the loudest and biggest one... until the day of October 1st come and Coldplay rock Rio de Janeiro to make 100.000 passionate people sing louder and louder each song they played. \o) BRAZIL S2 COLDPLAY

Along with Coldplay and some other performers/bands, I am planning to see Rihanna while I'm in the UK in December, and I noticed that there is a big gap in her touring schedule that seems kind of interesting, when you then look at Coldplay's schedule... and started thinking about Princess of China. I wonder if there is a chance she might perform with Coldplay at one or more of their shows? Thoughts? Jason

I saw this live version of Yellow once, the best version I think, and I cant find it again. It was shot professionally, not by one person. And, right before the song kicked up, Chris Martin went, "shhhh" (Shush). Just wondering if anyone can locate it and post it. Thanks

hi guys ok so my mum is a huge coldplay fan so i managed to get tickets to the o2 in london, shes seen coldplay before but always seated and this time she insisted she wanted to stand, shes only small and im pretty worried that she'll either get crushed and pushed around or wont be able to see unless were at the very front, having only seen coldplay at festivals i dont really have a good idea of how "rough" the crowd is for their own show so i was basically wondering will she be alright or should i swap the tickets for seated ones?

How is it that at 9.30am this morning i was on-line to Ticketmasters trying to get a couple of tickets for the Deecember gigs. Within 1 minute of the tickets going on sale Ticketmasters said that ALL tickets were sold out yet at 9.33m there were over 200 adverts for tickets at extortionate prices on EBAY!!! How is it possible for so many people to have bought tickets & got them onto ebay in less than 3 minutes? Doesnt make sense to me at all. Very very disappointed that i havent got any tickets as i refuse to pay inflated EBAY prices.:cry::cry:

Obviously lots of fans had difficulty getting tickets for the UK and European shows, whether they tried for the presale or the general sale. And seeing a pair of tickets sell for £560 on ebay this morning only adds to the disappointment. In an effort to prevent such profiteering from "non-fans", some musicians have taken to making the tickets "will call only" (picking up the tickets at the venue). Do you think it would have been a good idea for Coldplay to make tickets for these shows "will call only"? Why or why not?

This has come up a few times in the MEN & O2 threads. Mich has spoken to someone (Ticketmaster or O2, I forget which). The tickets have seat numbers so they can judge capacity. If you went through the standing option, and your receipt says floor, you DO have standing tickets.

When do you think Coldplay is going to announce an official MX tour. Or whatever they decide to call it. With Viva La Vida the tour got announced when you could pre-order the album. Sorry if this is a useless thread and if there are many others out there. I looked I couldn't find :( P.S I'm still hoping for "Under 1 Roof tour" :D

Hey, everybody. I'm looking for a certain song that was played at Coldplay's UCLA SummerKrush gig. I'm sure it was played at all the other 2011 gigs as well. It was an instrumental track played right before the Back 2 The Future intro started. Does anyone know any of the songs that were played before the show started? I got there late and was only able to hear Gorillaz "Kids with Guns" and JayZ "99 Problems"
