I've been watching a lot of Coldplay interviews lately, I wanted to attempt to make a thread with all of them listed in chronological order! :D So is this a good idea, and would anyone help me with it?

  4. Exclusive Coldplaying.com interview -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just saw this over at XXL.com and thought I'd share: The Jay-Z/Coldplay Mash-Up Project Viva La Hova Is Almost Here You’re probably scratching your heads. What is Viva La Hova? Basically, it’s a Jay-Z/Coldplay mash-up/remix project put together by Mick Boogie and Terry Urban. I’ll let Mick tell it: It’s no secret Shawn Carter and Chris Martin have been friends and collaborators in recent years, most recently on Jay’s “Beach Chair” and Kanye West’s “Homecoming.” But it was their first actual Coldplay collabo… the recently released “Lost!” remix…

  5. He does it at pretty much every concert... got a particular favourite? I do like the one he does at Isle of Wight '06, and on Live 2003. (If you're not sure what I'm talking about, check out this: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ggfzhvdmmmj.

Ryan was a big fan of Coldplay. At two, she could point out each band member and tell you their name and instrument. We spent hours and hours together listening to their music and watching concert videos...she was my true Coldplay buddy. I had planned to take her to a show on the next tour which would have been Viva La Vida but it wasn't to be. Ryan was just three when she passed away suddenly two years ago. In an effort to keep our daughters memory alive, we started a project called, Ryan's MINI Adventure. We invite people to take her favorite toy, her Red Matchbox MINI Cooper on journeys near and far to visit, meet, and experience all the wonders that this ear…

OK. I joined this board last year but started posting in around April. In July I discovered that Guy Berryman was in fact a member of Coldplay and not a poster on the board as I had come to presume. I've been aware of Coldplay since the beginning and bought their first two records on release (though admittedly didn't learn anything about the band as I was only interested in the music) but drifted away when X and Y came out. I have also had a few subscriptions to various music magazines down the years. Even in the last few months since being aware of him I've still never seen his name around and you have to admit it's one you'd remember if you saw it. Why is it that I h…

Coldplay have kindly helped out our charity appeal for the Castle Howard Arboretum Trust. Chris Martin helped design a piece of art out a a piece of wood from our grounds - and then got the rest of the boys to sign it. I can't directly send you to it here (first post!) but if you search 'Chris Martin Branching Out Charity Auction' then you'll get the details. We're associated with Kew Gardens and are based in North Yorkshire, UK - where we maintain over 6,500 trees and plants for scientific research, conservation and public enjoyment! All the money will go to paying for essential maintenance and supplies. Hope this is of interest to some of you. All the best,…

  16. How did you manage to count exactly the duration of the event? Did you set a stop watch or you counted it yourself silently or did you tell your friends earlier that it might happen so that they can be prepared and count exactly how many seconds it was when it happened? Or do you like have any other fangirling methods that I don't know of? TELL ME.

Where did all the haters come from? Why are there vast numbers of vitriolic people online, venting spleen at baffling targets like Coldplay? by Edward Collier I can't remember where I was when I first came across the word "hater", but I know what I was doing – I was looking at the comments on a YouTube page. At first I couldn't grasp its utility and, what's more, in terms of English usage, it narked me in the same way as the peculiarly prepositioned question, "Are you digging on me?" in Joss Stone's song, Super Duper Love. Nowadays, I can't imagine how I ever managed without "hater" in my idiolect, since the internet seems to have such a large population of ha…

  21. Surfer dude Chris Martin rides the waves in The Hamptons He doesn't smoke, drink alcohol or eat meat. So it's good to see that Chris Martin does still know how to have fun. The Coldplay front man took to his surfboard on exclusive Long Island, in New York's The Hamptons. The 33-year-old, an accomplished surfer, showed off his skills as the sun set. Wearing board shorts and a wetsuit shirt, Martin caught wave after wave. For once the father-of-two's time in the ocean passed without incident. In July 2003 the singer, who guards his private life jealously, damaged a photographer's car windscreen after having his picture taken while surfing near Byron Bay on Australia'…

Sometimes when I have listen to the lyrical poetry of MArtin from the American band The Cold Play, I think 'Martin these lyrics has much SENSITIVE and homosexual', so I put to you the ventilators of Cold Game, is Coldplay writing musics for the homosexual who wishes to express his emotions? Do Coldplay have many gay fans and if so how do the straight fans feel about these gays? How does MArtin himself feel about them? Does he not get annoyed when people call him and his bandmates THE GAY? :(

That does not to seem to be a very long time.... at least it was a very intensive one. Just have to tell you my little story. I'm kinda celebrating my first anniversary of being a Coldplay fan at the moment. Sadly I don't know the exact date but I know it was at the beginning of August one year back that I realized I had become a fan (sorry for my grammar :\). That was also a turning point in my life, finally things got better for me - I had a very tough time the months before. Then I started to listen to "Trouble" and everything made sense for me. I also remember listening to the radio while driving home from work and suddenly there was Viva la vida on it an…

  24. According to the setlist in this thread: http://www.kanyelive.com/talk/kanye-west/jay's-set-list-for-tonight-(kanye-songs-included)/ It looks like Chris might be doing a couple songs with Jay-Z. http://twitpic.com/2o7esw This pic makes it look like he'll play piano in heart of the city, perform Most Kingz then play Viva La Vida - and the other guests playing that night have their own solo song as well so it makes sense that Viva La Vida would be last. Anyone there or on twitter following this? Thoughts?

  25. So i'm sure you've all seen the new Live Transmissions section of Coldplay.com. I just went over there to upload my videos from Wembley Stadium, and i uploaded the first 2 without any problems at all, but when i came to do the next one, after filling in all the details and hitting the Upload and Tag button, an error message came up saying, "Sorry, you must enter a valid YouTube URL." So i tried the next one instead and got the same error message. And again with the next one i tried to upload. I know these are the valid youtube URLs for my videos because i copied and pasted them straight from the address bar, and the videos are definitely still working. What's going o…
