Two things. First, anyone notice how Triple M (Melbourne)'s site yesterday was bulging with Coldplay content (at least 4 int. clips, their pic on the front page, promise of a vid interview) and now there's nothing at all to be found on there? Think this means their in the process of uploading the video int? Second, anyone notice that iTunes officially changed the name of the CP album to just Viva La Vida...strengthening possibilities of a b-sides release/double album entitled DAAHF? waaayyyy too much excitement going on recently...

Hows it going, i don't know where else to ask this so I registered here lol. Aside from the Kraftwerk riff on "Talk" have Coldplay sampled anyone else? I haven't heard everything from them but are there any other riffs or actual samples in their music? Just curious. I heard Timbaland's working with them so I bet he'll sneak some samples in their music. Actually, knowing his reputation he won't ask for permission and Coldplay will get sued lol.

the way they're going at the moments just :cool: firstly they gradually lets us have a few songs and previews, it hasn't been leaked (can't say much about oasis ahum) they reasonably price tour tickets with a few free shows slotted in there, they are focusing more on selling via internet cos well face it that's the only way people get music these days (but i'm sure we'll all still buy their album ;)) AND (not sure if it's double album) BUT there's a variety of songs to make EVERYONE HAPPY!!! :D yay! god it's god to have out boys back :P

In the US iTunes store, type in "Viva La Vida" in the search. Then, when your results come up, you'll have the "albums" bar at the top with FOUR albums. Two results for Coldplay, a Frida soundtrack, and something called Cafe Cubar. The one on the top right is 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends' in iTunes Plus format. The only catch? Listed for 99 cents. In DRM-free style. At least that's what it looks like to me!

One of my best friends, let's call him Johnny-boy, is an avid hater of anything Coldplay. I don't know what it is that he hates about them, but he claims that Yellow annoyed him to death. His hatred for Coldplay only grew over the years. He didn't like Clocks or the Scientist, or any of their other hits. Hey mates! I opnened this thread cause I'm translating A Spell A rebel Yell into spanish and I'm having a struggling with the tittle of the song.. For those who can speak Spanish, if you try to translate "A spell a rebel yell" it would say: "Un hechizo, un grito de un rebelde" So here's my question: does the tittle have a "coma" (,) between "spell" and "a"? because if it hasn't... Coldplay's new album will have two "two-for-the-price-of-one" tracks on it so it will cost fans less to download. Lead singer Chris Martin said: "Buy one get one free, it comes from working in Kwik Save, I think. As I said before, nobody buys albums any more, certainly nobody buys full albums and we've made an album that you have to have from start to finish." I myself am a huge Coldplay fan, and as the excitement with their new album starts to rise, I'm finding myself addicted to this website. I feel like all of us are so much alike, listening to the songs 50 times in a row, not being able to turn it off. We're all kids in a candy store, and as Coldplay continues to release songs, our appreciation for them is solidified that much more. Coldplay should be happy that they have fans like us! Party on Coldplay nation, it's going to be an album for the ages!

OK so we should be hearing some tracks pretty soon hopefully, but by this point we've gotten a lot of descriptions of tracks on the album. Minus Violet Hill and Viva la Vida as we've heard them, what songs are you most excited to hear? From day 1 I've had a good feeling about Cemeteries of London, it was my favourite title in the original list and by the sounds of it it'll be this albums "White Shadows", my favourite track on X&Y. Though Chinese Sleep Chant also sounds like it'll be great.
