I happened to just notice something. Is there still an absolutely definite title? While, in the announcement of the album title on Coldplay.com, the upcoming album was, in fact, named Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, lately, Coldplay.com, or Politik, or whatever, has been referring to it as simply Viva la Vida. More curiously, the album art has a big fat Viva la Vida, but is suspiciously lacking the ODAAHF. (or Death and All His Friends) Coincidence? Just casual exception? Or have Death and All His Friends been exiled from the title? Discuss.

What songs from the new album do you think will be made into music videos, and which of these will get major airtime (MTV, VH1, etc.)?

i live in vancouver.. so BBC6 Online Radio will be broadcasting the song, available here at 5-ish am? and thats the very FIRST play? and then coldplay.com will have it for download at 7:15am (here time) and i cant miss school for downloading the song! my english class starts 7:15am i have an Othello test! and what would be my excuse for writing the test later? i had to skip to listen to the new coldplay song....i wish i could... and then i have 2 more tests after that in geo and history so i cant even come home! so my only hope is the 5am broadcast. please someone tell me this is true and i can listen to it then. as long as its played before 6:55am i can hear…

Basically, we are the biggest coldplay fans around, so of course we should all be the ones getting tickets to their two free shows. I believe that it will be some sort of first come first serve deal from their website. So let's make sure to post on this forum the instant that we see details on how to get tickets. XFM said they would have special Coldplay news on monday. anyone know anything about this yet? or is it just mentioning that they will play the song and it will be available for download tomorrow..because thats what I saw right now on the XFM site.

Its not the title on the album artwork, it wasn't mentioned in Prospekt's tracklist, its like they're being ignored. I reckon this is a conspiracy! :laugh3: Double album anyone? Wishful I know... ...but we can hope!

Not sure where to post this or if someone has posted it already, or even if it will excite anyone other than myself, but has anyone noticed that on Play, the Viva la Vida is listed as 'gatefold digipak'? I didn't know what this was but faithful wikipedia told me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digipack and a foldy out 'book style' thingy makes me hopeful it comes with an extra CD or something. Even if it doesn't, haven't all the others been normal jewel cased CDs? It's a bit different and makes me excited for reasons I don't even know. Just a few friendly suggestions for the people who have started the 'I FOUND VIVA LA VIDA' or 'VIOLET HILL LEAKED' type threads: Some people on here are very excited everytime they see those threads, and they get their hopes up, only to be let down again by files that won't download or files that turn out to be bogus. If you find VLV titles on limewire, ares or any other p2p, check the bitrates, files sizes and file extensions before downloading. (If a file is 2kb, it's probably not a song) Once you've downloaded, if you can, make sure the files don't end with the extension 'mp3.exe'. YOU don't want to open those! I actually can't believe that the album hasn't leak. Not even "Violet Hill", due to be released on Tuesday. If the single, that's only one song, hasn't leak, I highly doubt that we will be hearing Viva La Vida before June 16. The band is being very very mysterious about this album - we don't have artwork yet, no webpage, among other things!!! - I think the band plans summarize on what Gwyneth Paltrow said the other day: "The new Coldplay album is brilliant.
