I haven't listened to them since before Christmas, because I was really getting tired of them, much as I love them. I'd just overplayed them, so I gave it a rest for nearly 4 months. But with all the hype about the new album, I loaded most of my (rather large) collection into the stereo today, and the joy is back! I'm remembering all the lovely reasons I fell in love with them 8 years ago! YAY!!!!!:D:D:D:D So if you're getting sick of them, just go off and listen to some other music for a while and take your time coming back...it'll be worth it!!!!!

Got an email from someone who alerted me to the fact that Coldplay.com "expires" in April and thinks it might have something to do with a cache switch from the old to the new website. He was using firefox, right click on the browser and choose page info. I don't use firefox so I don't know what it means (maybe someone else does?). I'm assuming I have that particular time because I'm in the UK. Is it different for you guys around the world? :confused: Anyway here's a screenshot of it happening. Given the fact that quite a lot of us are now getting very agitated about news to the point its becoming unhealthy, it's time to start looking back on the last 12 months (nearly) and seeing what has gone right and wrong with 'Prospekt'. We've been constantly given an inch of news and have wanted to take a mile. Some of it has been cryptic and not much use, some of it has given us clear progress. On average it's been 5-6 weeks between updates, a long time for anyone to cope with when they're clicking the button every 5 minutes. I think I can speak for nearly everyone who is a part of the coldplaying.com community when I say that this week has been thrilling for us. I imagine it has probably been pretty exciting for the Coldplay family, too. We've had four consecutive days of new information. The review averaging website Metacritic has Coldplay's upcoming album set for a June 17 release. Maybe you guys know this already, but I figured it couldn't hurt to mention. And yes, I know it's not officially from Coldplay, but this a well-kept, reliable site. i think there is no real discussion about it by now so i think i have to ask: don't you too think that the quote signs prospekt made to announce the album title earlier that week were set wrong? to my mind, coldplay will never make an album called VLVODAAHS. so prospekt wrote this: 'Viva la vida or Death and all his friends' but ment 'Viva la vida' or 'Death and all his friends' thats what i think

the movie the escapist is due out soon (in the UK) but there were some screenings at festivals that could have told us if the song was there... and if it was good!!! of ALL time. Maybe it's a very clever lyric, Maybe it's a lyric that just touches you. Maybe it's something else. Share your favourite lyrics and tell us why? :) I'll start. My favourite Coldplay lyric is the end part of Politik; When chris sings "Give me love over, Love over, Love over this...." It just send shivers down my spine every time I hear it. That song was about many things, including 9/11 terror attacks, and just wanting to feel anything but that. and so that really moves me, I think the end part of Politik is the most coldplay have come to moving me with music like that, even more so than the end of Fix you.

Prospekt has updated the new entry on coldplay.com and has added quotes around BOTH titles which suggests that the title is "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" This also could mean they have been watching coldplaying.com because they may have noticed we misinterpreted the original post so they changed it! what do you guys think?

First question: What ever happened to the songs "Mining on the Moon", "The Fall of Man", and "Bucket for a Crown"? I was really looking forward to TFOM. Second: Talk has been going around about Coldplay having written "The Greatest song they've ever written." What song do you think this is? I've gotta think it's 42, as they've said it will be a single, it's been on the track list since the beginning, and the entire album seems to be focused around the number (it's 42 minutes long). If not then maybe Famous Old Painters, but FoP wasn't on the track list that was released on the Swedish website, which looks pretty official to me. I don't know though, what are your though…

What really pisses me off about other people is when they say that Coldplay suck. coldplay is the best band that we have today. their melodies are one of a kind, their lyrics are the best and you can actually understand every word that they are saying in each of their songs. when people say that Panic! at the disco and bands like that are the best i feel like rocking them. i know that everyone has a different genre of music and they may of never hear any of coldplays songs but dont say they suck then. one last thing. when people say that coldplay is gay that pisses me off the most. first of all 3/4 of them are married and guy just divorced. i hate to admit that i like col…

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was admitted to University College Hospital last night after breaking his arm playing the popular game 'Guitar Hero'. A black SUV approached the hospital at 5pm yesterday, driven by his wife Gwyneth Paltrow, a hooded Chris then jumped out and quickly entered A&E.
