Coldplay drummer joins 'Game of Thrones' season 3 You know your show is a big deal when you need to cast a drummer and Will Champion shows up. The Coldplay musician will appear in the eagerly anticipated third season of the fantasy drama. Here’s all we’re permitted to reveal about his cameo: Champion will play … a drummer! This is actually the second famous musician to appear on Thrones in the upcoming season. Snow Patrol lead singer Gary Lightbody was cast last summer in a cameo role that hasn’t yet been officially described (Next: Bono as Ramsay Snow!). Let’s hope Champion and Lightbody fare better than that last notable musician character in the show…

When I first discovered coldplay, I thought the catchy piano hooks were what defined this band, but now, in my opinion, it's Chris Martin's voice what makes Coldplay unique.

Did not find anything regarding this message from Guy. Not that is much of a newsXP Guy looking for previous owners of a Maserati 3500GT 27 November 2012 5:35 pm Can you help him track down the former owners of this car? Hello. I'm trying to find the previous US owners of a Maserati 3500GT during the 1960s and 70s. The car was the same colour scheme as above, probably located in California. I know it's a long shot, but please email [email protected] if you, your parents or grandparents (or someone else you know) had one like this! Thanks! Guy link ------ I wonder why he's trying to track it.

19 October, 2011. Finaly. After 3 years of waiting and enjoying Viva la Vida, the new album came out; Mylo Xyoloto. I was slightly disappointed in the result, definitly not my favorite album but, okay. Now, almost 2 years after MX we still did not had any B side of MX. The only B side we have heard is Moving to Mars, lovely song btw. So what the fuck is going on? 1 year after VlV they gave us Prospekt March, and now? Im so dissapointed... Does anybody knows about any B sides that they will bring out soon?????

According to a Spotify study, music by Adele, Enya and Jack Johnson helps calm the nerves. For some people who have to travel by plane, Valium, listening to babbling brook soundscapes or finding a happy place just aren't enough to quell fears of flying. If you're one of those people, then Spotify has a new playlist for you: Calming Music to Fly to. In a study commissioned by the prolific music streaming service, anxiety psychologist Becky Spelman found that music with a low bpm, preferably 60 bpm paired with slow, rhythmic breathing, is a powerful combo for calming rattled nerves. While some songs make more sense (Someone Like You by Adele) than others (Space Oddity…

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that Korean rapper Psy blanked her husband Chris Martin at the Met Ball in New York because he didn't know who he was. She said Coldplay frontman Chris had approached Psy and asked for a picture - but the Gangnam Style star did not recognise him. The 40-year-old then explained to the rapper that their son is 'obsessed' with him and requested a picture. Gwyneth apparently said: 'Our son is obsessed with Psy so we went up and Chris was like "Hello I'm from the band Coldplay." But Psy didn't seem to know who he was,' The Star reports. She continued: 'So we said: '"We're sorry to bother you but can we have a picture fo…

Because we can. Chris is eating pie. He spits it out, disgusted. "Dear God, Gwyneth, what DID you put in this pie?" Chris growls. Gwyneth replies: "Apple." I know, that one's been floating around here for a few hours now, but what the hell. Come up with some more, make me laugh!

It's been quite a long time since I first listened to Coldplay, as my daughter used to listen to (maybe she still listens), and the first thing I noticed about the songs was the idea of happiness, peace and love, which I automatically associated with the hippie culture from back on my days (mostly from Janis Joplin fans), which is interesting. Then I've noticed on this website that some of the members seem to be into drugs, and they also share very similar social-political views with those we called 'hippies', such as the legalization of marijuana/gay marriage and other ultra-liberal ideas of society. It's quite how I perceive the fans although I'm not sure if it's ent…

I am working on a term paper where Coldplay is the subject . This quote "It's about ‘you're not on the list’…It's always fascinated me that idea of finishing your life and then being analyzed on it. And that runs through most religions." by Chris about the song Viva La Vida is very important in the thing I am writing. Does anybody know where it came from? I found out that it was from a Q magazine but which edition, date, who interviewed Chris and the name of the article? Any kind of information would help a lot! Thankyou!

I was cleaning up my closet today and found some of my older Coldplay tour shirts that I hadn't seen/worn in a while. It got me curious about what Coldplay merchandise other people own! I have a silly tradition where I like to buy a shirt at every concert I go to (only for my favourite bands though, or else I'd have a lot of useless shirts ), so I have 7 Coldplay shirts and 2 keychains, which is probably not a lot compared to some people, but Coldplay is by far the band that I have the most merch of. So I have... 2 shirts from the AROBTTH era: - 1 women's black t-shirt that has a part of the album cover on it - 1 long-sleeved black shirt that just says CO…

I have been looking for this early acoustic version of Proof for a long time now. I was browsing youtube and saw that someone posted the live early acoustic version. I know I could have posted this elsewhere, but it's too good to not post where the most traffic on these boards comes through! This version reminds me of when I was discovering all of Coldplay's songs for the first time. Enjoy! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnFEOi1Fx7w]Coldplay - Proof (Live) 1080HD - YouTube[/ame]

Yay, new interview to read. I like that. Another day in paradise WHEN he formed Coldplay, Chris Martin wanted to be known but not necessarily famous. Famous was for better-looking or faster-talking, more tabloid-ready types such as Bono of U2, the Gallaghers in Oasis or those hip-hop stars who seemed built for it. Not for someone who even today, as a 35-year-old man, declares to me that ''we feel so grateful and happy to have our job and when lots of people are there we feel even more grateful and even more happy''. Yes, he has that self-deprecating thing down but it's hard to see the disingenuousness. Twelve years ago he was already saying of the four me…

Coldplay latest act to freeze out streaming services Coldplay, one of the world's biggest music acts, has declined to offer songs from the company's new album "Mylo Xyloto," to streaming services such as Spotify, Rdio and Rhapsody, multiple sources told CNET. EMI, the band's record label, acknowledged that Coldplay, known for such songs as "Yellow" and "Clocks," will not distribute through streaming services for "Mylo Xyloto," but did not detail the reasons for the decision. "We always work with our artists and management on a case by case basis to deliver the best outcome for each release," EMI said in a statement. "Mylo Xyloto," however, has been streamed onl…
