  2. I moderate the Coldplay subreddit, and am currently in the process of redesigning it from the ground up. Since I have little to no experience with graphic design, I was hoping someone here would be able to help. We're currently using the art from the Live 2012 cover, but since the MX era is over, I'm wanting the theme of the subreddit to be a much more 'general' looking Coldplay theme, if that makes sense. As in, nothing that relates to one particular album or era of their career. Here is the file of the current header, and I'd appreciate if you kept the same dimensions of the current header. I realize this is a lot to ask, but I don't have too many other people …

As a U2 fan, I came on here to see whats up in the Coldplay world. I was shocked to see so many U2 disses. Especially since Coldplay tries so very hard to be as good as U2 (Chris Martin putting a picture of U2 up in the studio, and his reason ``to be the best, you have to beat the best``). Even worse is when Coldplay tries to BE U2. It`s pathetic how much your guitarist rips off The Edge, and how Chris Martin tries to get his Bono on. Chris Martin makes me cringe with embarrassment every time he tries to act like Bono live. It`s so bad I have to change the channel. Whether he`s singing ``come on love`` at the beginning of Yellow, or wandering into the crowd live, it`s a…

  6. I'm not sure of this is true but I found three articles that mention that Coldplay will perform at a Norwegian festival called Skaugum (19/20 July) and that it's to celebrate Prince Haakon 40th birthday. I had to use Google Translate since I don't speak Norwegian, here are the links: http://www.seher.no/919517/coldplay-spiller-paa-skaugum http://www.vg.no/nyheter/innenriks/kronprinsparet/artikkel.php?artid=10118403 http://www.bt.no/nyheter/innenriks/Se-og-Hor---Coldplay-skal-spille-pa-Skaugum-2930131.html Is there anybody from Norway who has more information about this?

Brave Caitlin's Coldplay treat A BRAVE girl has overcome a life-threatening illness to raise money for the people who saved her life. Caitlin Murphy, of Birch Crescent, South Ockendon, almost never made her ninth birthday after a viral infection spiralled out of control affecting her internal organs. She was sent to Great Ormond Street Hospital for a month, even meeting Coldplay front man Chris Martin. Caitlin said: “He was so nice, although I would have loved to meet One Direction.” Caitlin ran the Race for the Kids 5km at Battersea on June 9, and since coming out of hospital has raised around £1,000 for it. http://www.thurrockgazette.co.uk/news/105…

So I'm on The Who's forum and I saw that there has been (and will be a) Who conventions, it made me wonder has there ever been any Coldplay conventions? I understand The Who have been around a lot longer and may have more reason to have a convention but... At a Coldplay convention it would give fans a chance to meet other fans, possibly make some new friends, people could sell any Coldplay merch/memorbilla they don't want (money could go to a charity but that's up to the seller), who ever is in charge could get a Coldplay tribute band to perform, stuff like that? So has there ever been one? Will there ever be one? Why do you guys think? :)

Coldplay attend 'Spike Island' movie premiere Band invested in the new Britflick – but wonder where the robots are Spike Island, a new British comedy-drama set against a backdrop of The Stone Roses' notorious outdoor gig at Spike Island in Widnes, Cheshire in 1990, premiered at the BFI London Film Festival last night (October 12). Among those in attendance for the screening were the members of Coldplay. The band partly funded the film, whose director Mat Whitecross shot numerous Coldplay videos, including 'Paradise'. After the event, Chris Martin told NME he had not previously seen the film, despite investing money in it. We had great faith that he'd p…

Hey all Apologies if I've posted in the wrong part of the forum but I am selling my precious copy of Coldplay's Mince Spies EP on eBay and thought this was a good place to find fans who might be after a copy - I'm not permitted to post links as this is my first post so just search Coldplay Mince Spies on eBay and it'll show up. I got this when it was first released and I still remember getting it in the post but due to finances it's time to say goodbye to it. Bidding starts at 99p - I want this to go to a good home.
