At this point in time, Coldplay were an cult band. Living off the mild success of their debut studio album, 2000's Parachutes, they gained alot of attention as being the next big rock act. So i'm trying to draw meanings relating to what White Shadows is talking about, but i'm drawing up blanks here. It seems like a part of it talks about growing up and leaving your childhood behind, but it often refers to someone else when it says "maybe you'll get what you wanted, etc etc" and in the last verse, where it says "See it in a new sun rising... see it breaking on your horizon...Oh, come on love, stay with me..." I'm looking for an old picture...I think it may been taken after X&Y. It's in black and white, and features all four boys reading The Sun (I think it was).
