Sorry to anyone who can't swim, but I do assume that. I mean, we are still animals, and we should be intelligent to know how to move our limbs in a way that makes us move in water, I don't understand people who can't swim. We are still basically animals, and put in water, we should be able to realise, as the intelligent source of life on this planet, how to move our limbs in water to get out of a bit of water. Again, apologies, but I don't get it, maybe people who can't swim were put in a pressurised situation and don't like being in water, but for the majority of people, to me it seems natural. I have a dimple on my left cheek, and I always HATED it when I was younger, but I don't mind it now. Also, I never understood why people think dimples are so cute, but now I think people with dimples are more attractive. :uhoh: So do you have dimples? And what do you think of them?

I disagreed with how Ian ran the place recently, but these threads trying to coax him to keep it are a tad ridiculous. If he's going to run it, I'll complain if he's not running it well. Hey, coldplayers I have been hearing some rumors about the forum closing because of the lack of sponsorship. My suggestion would be to get the members involved. If every member paid just one dollar they'd have enough to keep the forum going and though all members might not be able to afford it. I know that there are mny who will be willing to pay to see this forum remain open... Think about it. It might not be the perfect solution but it's one worth considering.... This is also a thread where people talk to themselves when they are apparently tired of bashing others and making themselves feel good about it.

I've been thinking about the Einstein twin paradox for a while. Mine was probably this day last summer or two summers ago. I drank a ton of coffee in the morning after I pulled an all-nighter. I was suddenly so hyper, I played "Whatever Happened" by O.A.R. on my ipod and just danced. I just danced completely alone like an idiot all over the room, probably near injuring myself. I'm voicing an opinion of what many people probably feel. I know this lounge is a place for general chit chat (non-coldplay related), but it is ruining the board. Why is this happening? Ian is in charge he can do whatever he wants. That is fact. He pays to run this site, he can manage it how he wants. And he does a pretty fair and damn good job ok? Everyone just deal with it. You have to. The lounge used to be a nice place to visit but instead of talking about cool stuff all it is is arguments and bashing. Thats not what this place should be about. I am a big fan of Flashmobs, moreso if there's more people who don't know what's going on then there is who are involved. If you don't know what a Flashmob is; A group of people choreograph a dance routine to a song that is played in a public place, then unleash their mad skills upon the un-suspecting public. Alternatively, they all stand still when a whistle is blown, and then go back to normal when the whistle blows again. But that one kinda sucks, the public peeps reaction seems to be a lot more of a freakout then a "WTF they're all dancing why KEWL!" kinda reaction. By this I mean, look at Egyptian tomb paintings, you'll notice that over thousands of years the style was identical. This was because it was a public decree by the pharaoh that things had to be done a certain way (the pharaoh always had to be bigger than everybody but the gods, always had to be in front in each panel, lots of other rules). Since I don't think Ian cares much for petitions, maybe we should try another route. Maybe we should say how this board has changed our lives. This may seem a bit extreme, but this forum has really done a lot for me. First of all, it showed me that I was not the only one. I am the only one in my town that likes Coldplay. Even my family hates them. This forum has brought me a sense of closeness with people like me. Second, I've made so many friends here. I never thought there were so many people out there who had the same interests as me, but there are. I now have friends from all over the world, and all of them are such nice people.
