after hearing the snippet: piano ballad, oldplay. Reminds me a bit of Christmas Lights and Moving To Mars, don’t like the way Chris shouts Everglow, seems careless.

Nothing stands out very much. The melody doesn't seem like a lot yet. Probably not much is revealed in the snippet, after all, Up&Up's melody isn't really revealed in the snippet.

Snippet is very bland, but then again it's only a snippet and it will all come down to the actual melody !

I like this song! It's a nice blend of their piano-driven ballads and a little bit of the synth stuff. I could totally see it fitting on Ghost Stories.

oldplayers complaining about AOAL....but this is an average ballad...nothing more...

Not gonna lie, great song. I love the use of the guitar parts from Jonny, lyrics are better, one issue though: those 'hey hey' female voices in the background. Just no.

It's no Fix You, but it's still beautiful

The live version is going to be better, I think. Obviously it's not Fix You, a song that will be very hard to topple. But from I can decipher, the lyrics seem beautiful and it could sound amazing in high-quality!

Like that song! Especially the production of it is amazing, could have easily stick to more simple and Oldplay production but it's just great job on this on! Also they made that piano sound so fucking great. Clearly it's not the hit song on radio, but it's beautiful and calming listen - it made me sleepy, in a really good way.

Horrible song. I listened to it three times now. Average 2000s pop ballad, nothing interesting or moving about it. Could have been sung by Shania Twain in 2002.

And can Chris's vocals get any more scratchier than this ?
