Coldplay

I was just wondering when you think LP5 will debut? I'm hearing so many months but mostly May 2011 :wacky: Would you mind telling me why you think the album will come out in that specific month?

Just listening to Fran Healy's solo album Wreckorder. And it hit me that I'd absolutely love to hear an album like this from Coldplay with acoustics and strings. Most of all I listen to this song and marvel at it's beauty. If you love Coldplay I'm certain you'll love this song. For and against Coldplay. It's easy - we all love Coldplay but what are the reasons why we like them? And what are the reasons where you feel they can do much better? A kind of teacher's pupil report - where they are doing well and which things you look at and think - could do better! For - Can't argue about a band who produced two of the finest albums of the past decade in Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood To The Head. Against - Please no more collaborations with the likes of Jay Z and Beyonce.

Just wanted to post this video of DJ Ferry Corsten playing The Scientist at the Nature One festival last weekend. I think this is not too bad, since he didn't make it a dance song until after the first chorus. When I was reading our local newspaper this morning, I stumbled upon an article about Coldplay. Apparently they asked a local photographer who was shooting pictures at Pinkpop if they could use 2 of his pictures for an official tour book which would be released after the festival gigs. Have they ever done this before? I won't bother to translate more of the article, it's basically just some talking about photography. Scan:

I just find out there's the song called "A Hopeful Transmission":rolleyes: And also in band's Website. they have a transmission word getting stolen(?) By UFO :confused: so it might be an another song that IS ON LP5 !!

I'm not sure if I should post this here but yesterday I was on the underground in London (Camden Town-Edgware) and in front of me there was a girl who had a ROCK im PARK wristband on her wrist.. (obviously :P) I just thought it might be someone on this forum who might have been to the festival and that would be really cool because I've never actually met a CP-ing member before. :) Thanks :D

Hey I'm absolutely certain there are some threads out there dedicated to this song, but I didn't really have the time to look for them. I just wanted to get people's thoughts again - even if expressed previously - about the song Lukas and if it's an absolute travesty they gave the song to Natalie Imbrugliwhat without recording their own version. Ok, so from every album (for me at least) there is an underrated song. The song I love to hear, always. It just strikes a chord for me. What are yours? It doesn't have to be off an EP or a b side or anything.. as long as it was released with some form of connection to the album. just what you consider to be the most underrated song from each album! Chris Martin was inspired to start Coldplay by Ash's song Angel Interceptor, Ash's frontman Tim Wheeler has claimed. During a live interview on their official website, the band was asked if they were still friendly with Chris. Tim said: "He's a good guy, he's a massive Ash fan forever."
