Coldplay

It's my opinion that Coldplay makes the best music today, and all time for that matter. And of course they owe a large part of this to their earlier influences. :P But I stand by that. Moreover, I think there's so many things to love about them that aren't strictly about the music itself (not sure if there's a thread for this or not). 1. I mean, first off they share all the profits equally. I love that idea because whether or not Chris is in fact writing most of the lyrics for the songs, ALL of them are writing the melody and structuring the song together. For some reason when ever there is news on Coldplay.com, where they post pictures or something, eventually I can't keep scrolling down even though I can see half of another picture... http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=754 Like here, can you guys see all the photos? This is a thread for people to post there favourite covers of coldplay songs. In a conversation, someone will say a word which happens to be the name of a Coldplay song, and then you instantly start singing that Coldplay song in your head? Ex. My driving teacher kept saying Yellow, Warning Sign, and High Speed, So I had all 3 of those songs in my head for hours :D I love it!

Hello people! For the past couple of weeks I've been uploading a lot of Coldplay related videos into youtube...but I dont get like the weird copyright issues emails anymore. I'm not saying that I want them back, but when I uploaded my ETIAW teaser's video, immediately I get a notification that my video would be blocked by EMI. But when I uploaded my Major Minus video and Moving to Mars video...I get nothing. Could this mean EMI isn't involved with Coldplay anymore? :confused:

So did Coldplay better their Glastonbury headlining sets from 2002 and 2005? Do you feel it wasn't as good as the previous two or was it somewhere in the middle? For me personally tonight's headlining set blew the previous two showings out of the water. It was a miraculous set. Hello, I am looking for a VLV performance. It was not a very big one and it was filmed from behind the stage. The video begins after the 2nc refrain and you can hear Jonny's guitar very clear. During the video the 'ohohooho' starts and the cameraman/woman walks to the other side of the stage. (from behind) It was on a little gig somewhere in england I guess but I really can't find it! Maybe someone has a link? :)

hello! yesterday ryan seacrest announced that chris is going to be on his show, obviously as a call in since they're in europe. ryan was asking for questions, so i assume it's going to be a live thing, though i have no idea how long it will last. from what i can tell, ryan's show runs 5am-9am, PST. they stream the station live, but they also put up shows in their archive, so if people can't listen early it should be on the site later in the day. the KIISFM website is here! hopefully all of this is correct info, and hasn't been posted already. it's almost 3am here on the west coast, so i'm beyond tired.

For all us Californian, Arizonan, and other West Coast Coldplayers who are too poor to fly to Lollapalooza or ACL and are feeling rather left out of this whole festival tour, and would love for our favorite band to come to a festival only a car ride away. I know this has worked for songs played live, so even though it's a long shot, maybe we can get them to come out to SoCal. Never hurts to try.
