December 14, 20196 yr New interview with Chris on Dutch Radio 2: https://www.nporadio2.nl/nieuws/26879/ruud-de-wild-belt-met-chris-martin it's a short chat over the phone about Everyday Life, Christmas and Fix You (which has reached the 8th place in Radio 2's annual Top 2000)
December 16, 20196 yr Any inkling if Champion of the World gets a video? It's my mantra these days...
December 16, 20196 yr Man this era's videos aren't doing as good as the others. I guess cuz this album isn't very commercial? What a let down.....
December 16, 20196 yr Wasn't COTW supposed to get a video? I swear I heard something about it Nope, just Cry Cry Cry and Trouble In Town are said to have music videos being worked on...
December 16, 20196 yr Just wanted to give Guy a shout out for his work on EL. I sometimes think certain albums exemplify one member of the bands talents. On VLV the entire band was crushing it. On MX, Jonny delivered absolutely massive guitar riffs and solos. On AHFOD, Will really showed the breadth of his skill with live drumming and creating awesome sequenced beats and rhythm sections. Now on EL, I feel like each "band" track has incredible bass. Church, Trouble in Town, Arabesque, Orphans, Cry Cry Cry, CoTW all have some of Guy's most melodic bass riffs since Viva and their early days.
December 17, 20196 yr I wish the whole band were there too, just like the last time they did something like this

December 18, 20196 yr Just wondering if there are any more performances coming up in the next few weeks? I'd love to hear Christmas Lights. :(
December 18, 20196 yr Just wondering if there are any more performances coming up in the next few weeks? I'd love to hear Christmas Lights. :( Surprised they didn’t play it on Graham Norton or Quotidien, even if it was online-only bonus content or something

I vaguely thought it was shoreditch but now can’t find info online. The mural was/maybe still is in Shoreditch but the room was in Soho, Greek St. Only was there for 2 days though !
