The other day I received a physical copy of the Japanese edition of Everyday Life. I was surprised to discover that it was different from the regular version, which I had purchased before, in another

  • I think most of people here need the original lyrics AND the Japanese translation of them which only come with physical versions.

I just posted this on Twitter:

Great spot!

I think we might be able to expect something around the time when the videos went black & white (just 24 hours later). Could be nothing though.

Thanks! It probably means nothing at all but I thought it was neat!

Good one, now that you mention it, I do remember it. I thought it had something to do with Turkey (the country's flag).

And iunno about the rest of you, but I kinda want to be teased a bit more. The journey will hopefully be as good as the destination.

Don't forget Chris had visited Jerusalem many times - Jordan is not far away, Ammam is actually close to Jerusalem.

Surely innovative ways of going live this time, with perhaps smaller venues as well. Can't imagine them just doing stadium tour.

Yess... this fits very well with the rumors so far.... political backround with this album... experimental... Not a big Tour... they will Tour the next album that comes 2020... this makes sense now...

I just noticed the date... :scream:891487538_Screenshot_20191017-1208332.thumb.png.dbb08362fee94bc2eaef605778cd054a.png

Yes a new post... the teasing goes on...

Well everyone should check this one:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_and_crescent

The star and crescent is a symbol that crosses time and cultures. It was most commonly used by the Ottoman Empire and now modern Turkey. But, generally it is very popular today in Islamic countries (see the flags of Turkey, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Pakistan and Tunisia).

The most similar to Coldplay's design is this Byzantine one:

The sun and the moon, It has to be some kind of recurrent theme for Coldplay as well. It's like this chapter is the first new one after their "previous" career. This might be the ultimate exploration of what Brian Eno intended for them to do in the first place.

The sun and moon images gives me a different vibe to the posters.

One is more Arabic/middle eastern while the other is a 1920s swing band.

I’m scratching my head as to how these two are linked. Lol

do you think the time (not only the date) of the post is also relevant?

EDIT: would be midday (12:00) in Britain

On 22. November 1919 there was a sun eclipse...

same here, it doesn't really seem to fit

At this point is hard to believe in coincidences, so I would say is another clue :eyes:

Yeah same

The only way I see the moon and sun and the vintage poster connect, is with the eclipse... or are we streaching too far? But they've been putting that date out, knowing we'll obviously search it.... Nov. 22, 1919...
