  1. There's the What is your favorite coldplay song today? thread, but I'm sure your favorite songs sometimes are also other than coldplay songs. (At least my song obsessions usually change every few days) Post it here! (I hope there isn't already a thread like this!) My favorite song today is I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it - The 1975

  2. So I'm moving apartments and as I'm packing, I'm coming across old albums and records I haven't listened to in ages. This put me in a nostalgic mood so I'm going to be rolling out the top 10 albums of every year since 1960. The hope is that this will generate debate and discussion about great music; maybe it will even have people discover (or rediscover) albums and records that still resonate today. I'll be posting a year every day starting with 1960. Let's get this started! Top Albums From 1960s: 1960 1961 1962 1963 1964 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 Top Albums From 1970s: 1…

  3. Her live-streamed concert event, called Club 2054, attracted five million views. At $10 per person that would be $50 million . To texttospeech.onlput that in context, it’s around 10-15 times what a Paul McCartney stadium show would generate. Just astonishing. 4. Hello guys. I'm an old member of the forum, very active in the MX era, when my taste for Coldplay was in it's peak. Much has changed since then, including my no longer unconditional love for the band, since I don't like very much the music direction post MX era. Although absent from this forum, I've since missed something I've loved a lot in my time here: The Mixtape Exchange. The idea is so good, I love absolutely everything about it, the concept, the care of crafting a mixtape for another person, reading the reviews. Everything. Recently I've done a 'micro-version' of this exchange with a friend of mine in a more 'modernized way', since the original Mixtape Exchan…

Hey guys. Today I came across this band/project called 'Memory Flowers'. They are not known at all, in any country. They're kind of a hobby-club 'spamming' music through Youtube messages. I usually don't pay attention to them but I think this one is REALLY great. I must say it touched me.

  6. Time to give this another go, after ANOTHER year hiatus. The Coldplaying Mixtape Exchange is a fun way to discover new music while also giving you the chance to share music that you enjoy with other Coldplayers. Basically what happens is that you'll be given the name of the person who you will be making your mixtape for, and all you have to do is get together some songs that you really like, that go well together, and/or that your partner has most likely never heard before; but you must not let anyone know who you're making your mixtape for, and your partner must not know what exactly he or she is listening to - it has to be a surprise! After your partner reviews your …

  9. Pure Canna CBD uses a gentle natural extraction method that involves using organic food grade alcohol. They use a short path distill machine to ensure the purest, highest quality hemp extract possible. They do not use C02, butane or any other extraction process as they feel this creates a lesser product than they would like to treat their customers to. http://topcbdoilhub.com/pure-canna-cbd/

I know there's a Blur and Gorillaz thread already, but I still think he should have a thread of his own. Besides, he had/has other side-projects too. And the sexy fit men thread is being spammed with pictures of him. :wacky: --- I've read news that he's going to be involved in an opera about John Dee.

  11. As it's nearly Christmas time, I would like to wish all of you a merry Christmas (and.... I predict railways will be big in the future :p)! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In this thread you can share your favourite Christmas song (at the moment) and rate (e.g. 5/10) the Christmas song that has been shared by a user of the previous post (note: in order to rate a song fairly you must listen to the song in its intirety, even if you don't know it!). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'll start! Happy Christmas! :sunrise:

The very first time I heard anything about this band was at a Travis gig I went to last Halloween. (Keane were the opening act) I didn’t put much thought into the opening act being any good (probably because I was only pretty much interested in seeing Travis at the time) but the second Tom Chaplin (the vocalist of Keane) started to sing, the crowd just stopped what they were doing, and directed all of their attention and energy to the stage. I soon realized that I was experiencing something very special when my friend and I looked at each other with our jaws to the ground. Keane’s music is strikingly expressive, and leaves you with a soothing notion that everything will b…

I've had the idea of creating this thread for a very long time but I wasn't really sure how to approach this topic. This time I've decided to bring it on as I was told that the Christmas season is the most stressful time of year. Well, that certainly depends on an individual person. I believe it would be truly nice if we shared songs "that manage to buoy us up" with each other so we would learn what one listens to when they feel low and try to cheer themselves up. I know that this is not the easiest task. However, if you sense that you have to something to offer us, feel free to share your thoughts! This doesn't have to be restricted to the Coldplay only, you can wr…

Am I the only one that adores the band’s music in reverse? Well I think most of Coldplay’s songs are amazing backwards, especially the singles from all albums. Viva La Vida was the very first song I heard backwards. Then Clocks, then The Scientist. I think it’s a 50/50 for most of the reversed songs against their forward counterparts. But gravity is definitely better reverse, to me that one sounds a lot more emotional. Do some of you guys get a different feel to the reversed versions than the forward versions? What are your thoughts, Coldplayers? I know it’s the same song, lyrics wise, but the sound? No. So does this give you a different perspective on…

  25. The first time I’ve heard “Nothing left to lose” a long, long time ago, I thought Coldplay ventured into a different sound. The two gentlemen don’t sound totally alike, but everytime I hear a new Mat Kearney song, I can’t help but hear a little bit of Chris Martin. Mat Kearney raps too, so if he covers “Army of One”, we would probably notice/hear more of the resemblance. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
