November 2, 201114 yr I think the live version is much better, but not because of Rihanna, but because of that silly beat. The studio beat sounds much too relaxed and laid-back. It lacks the tension of the pounding live version; there is no climax towards the end. The live version gives me chills.
November 8, 201114 yr I don't understand the hate towards PoC I understand that this isn't your typical Coldplay song but that is what's so awesome about Coldplay...they try out different things; they grow as artists. That's the whole point of having a long career; you have to re-invent yourself. If they did the same things over and over, it would get boring not only for us the listeners but also for them. There are only so many "The Scientist" or "Fix You"'s they can do. We need to allow them grow and let their creativity flow. Personally, I am not a big Rihanna fan but her voice sounds very pretty on here. The ONLY thing I don't like about the song is that it has more Rihanna than Coldplay.

December 2, 201114 yr This song changes my life. Earlier when someone ask me about coldplay I said I love every coldplay song. After POC released I can't say that. I really can't stand those hiphop beat.:( For me POC<Lost+<Paradise And I love ETIAW though. And at least OTD is fun to listen.

December 7, 201114 yr LMAO!!! I just want to say that I became a member of this forum just to say that Princess Of China is one of my favorite songs EVER!!!!!!!!! I think I'm a Coldplay fan, I've been to every single tour and I can't wait to see them again... and I really hope to see a POC video soon, I really really REALLY like this song, yeah It's POP 1000000%, but it's SOOOO GOOD.
