Does anyone listen to Childish Gambino. If you don't you should. He's a rapper. And if you do.......ISN'T HE INCREDIBLE...he reminds me if kanye,and kanye is one of my favorites. Anyway what do y'all like about him and his music. I like how his music relates to me because I do kinda consider myself a "well spoken token"

Anyone up for doing a songs of the year thing? I don't think this board has ever really done this as far as I can remember, but I think it would be fun. Rules: 1. Anyone likes them? I downloaded some songs last night, and although they're "too loud for my liking" (I like soft-rock, I guess) I thought they were pretty good. So yeah, I'm kinda biased as I like Jared :lol: his voice is nice though. And their lyrics kick-ass. Anyone else likes them?

I don't know if a thread like this already exists and sorry if it does. They coulb be some songs that you used to love but, for a reason or another, you "forgot" about them, or some songs that you really hated and after giving them a listen after a long time, you start to like them. For example, I haven't heard The Logical Song (and the whole Breakfast in America) by Supertramp for a long time and now I really like it again. Oh, and I forgot how beautiful is Sting's Soul Cake.

Now I've been meaning to make this for awhile but I never got around to it. So the question is what's your favourite record or song to listen to while you are driving at night?Some of you might know what I mean when I say a record has that certain 'feel' of taking place at night or a calmness to it that's great for that specific situation. For me it would have to be 'Saturday Night Wrist' by Deftones, with 'Hot Fuss' and 'No Colour' coming in at a close second and third by The Killers and The Dodos respectively. I've also found that the alternate unreleased version of 'Talk' by Coldplay is great for night driving.

Just curious. I see that there is generally mostly threads about alternative/rock bands down here. Now Im askin what you generally listen to, not just a genre you have like 5 songs you like [which would be country for me] I mostly listen to all kinds of rock excluding screamo, R&B/Soul/Neosoul, Pop/Dance, and Hip Hop.

Does anyone like this wonderful band? They are my favourite band, I adore them. Billy Corgan, much respec, James Iha, much respec, D'arcy, much respec, and I love Jimmy Chamberlin. I cant drum for shit and I find it hard to recognise drumming patterns so when I hear Jimmy Chamberlin its just so refreshing, the mans a fucking genius. Corgan and Iha were two people who just happened to meet eachother, and thats amazing, what are the odds of two people who formed an ultimate musical alliance, just meeting eachother?
