The guy on the left of the poster is Sir Frank Watson Dyson, an Astronomer royal who organised an expedition to see the solar eclipse to Brazil in 1919

The other day I received a physical copy of the Japanese edition of Everyday Life. I was surprised to discover that it was different from the regular version, which I had purchased before, in another

  • I think most of people here need the original lyrics AND the Japanese translation of them which only come with physical versions.

Dyson did have some links to Einstein and the guy at the piano may be a very young moustacheless Einstein (looks like him) although in 1919 think Einstein would have looked older?

This would make a lot more sense haha. Didn't Johnny also study astronomy at university? :)

I believe that was Guy.

Top idea so far - not sure if it's actually him or not but that guy at the piano is definitely not Einstein.

Wondering what to make of this all...but the solar eclipse of 1919 is mightily important in terms of this album.

I can't upload images anymore for some reason but Timbaland reposted and @ other producers on Instagram.

If it is Sir Frank Watson Dyson, the 1919 eclipse he led an expedition to observe wasn't the one on November 22nd; this was on May 29th. However, both eclipses were visible in mostly the same parts of the world.

I believe that was Guy.

According to wikipedia it was Johnny - he studied astronomy and mathematics!

Uh-oh timbaland and a couple of associated producers seem to have worked on this album. Really no idea what to make of this album now.

Ok, guys, look at who reposted that teaser with beatclub... So, yeah, all true experiments hopes now went to the basement, probably, it's just a nice intro before some r'n'b beat dropping, so, yeah...

That was Jonny, astronomy and mathematics. Guy studied first engineering and then architecture .

Ok, guys, loook at who reposted that teaser with beatclub... So, yeah, all true experiments hopes now went to the basement, probably, it's just a nice intro before some r'n'b beat dropping, so, yeah...

Precisely. I'm now feeling it'll be as experimental as Ghost Stories, if so.

Hype dropped

No, it was Jonny who studied astronomy and mathematics. Guy studied engineering and later architecture.

Btw, I was thinking about the 'Wedding Bell Dance Orchestra'. This could mean they will release an album with dance music in the 1919/1920 style.

It might also be an album inspired by jazz, because The Original Dixieland Jazzband visited England in 1919.

Did anyone already mention this photo?

Imagine this being XMTS Part II :joy:

With that new information about producers, everything's possible...

Maybe we'll get another song like True Love...

They could still do something fairly experimental. Ghost Stories has ASFOS, but it also has Oceans and Midnight.

Okay, think I gonna sell my hopes for 5 bucks now.

I wouldn't lose all faith yet. Timbaland worked on O. He just added the drum explosion at the end.

Someone said that the two producers tagged in timbaland's post were the E-lo producers. Have to say I'm a little disappointed with this info. Similar influences since GS. But trying to keep an open mind.

Maybe they would have contributions in some songs and are not the album producers.

Also if that Malibu video is actually for the upcoming album, can anyone imagine the type of music that was in that snippet coincinding with their outfits and the beach? Barely, so it makes more sense with having something like in the vein these producers work. So, well, anyway, we'll see.

I think I'm the only person on here who loved E-Lo :joy: I still listen to that song all the time haha:p

I'm pretty sure E-Lo was just produced by Pharrell? That's what it says on Spotify :)

I don't know what to think. Maybe Timbaland retweeted because he's a friend of the band and previously worked with them. This aesthetic that Coldplay is going for and the clip we've heard, plus the song registered to Jonny, Will and Dan Green, I don't see how they would fit into any of this. I'd rather they weren't involved but I wouldn't die if they produced one song like they did with True Love on GS. Maybe they worked on the "mainstream" album coming in 2020? That's my guess. There's nothing "experimental" about him.

Actually, I enjoy the song. I like the cultural vibe of the beats. Could do without the handclaps, though. Overall, wasn't a bad song. But wasn't "Coldplay" either. Hence the different name.

I thought that it was only True Love, not O?
