Coldplay Live

I hope this hasn't been done her yet. So, since I have been recently getting arround the live CD/DVD packs by Coldplay I wanted to know which one in your opinion offers the best concert plus bonus content?

Coldplay are almost done with the South American leg of the A Head Full Of Dreams Tour, and since it's the first time in a long time that they keep changing the setlist every night, I figured it would be a good idea to create a statistic and summary of the band's setlist during this tour. If you guys like what i've done so far , I shall eventually keep doing this for the rest of the tour. PS : if there are people who were at a show ; and spotted mistakes or little facts missing (can go from Johnny falling on stage to Chris stopping a song for some reasons or anything really) just send me a message or post a message on the thread and i'll edit it ! Hey everyone, I am planning to buy a compact camera for the upcoming Coldplay concerts, specifically to take good videos. My phone's video function is pretty good in daylight but it just cannot deal with the very sparse and selective lighting during stadium shows. I'm sure I'm not the only one with that problem and the subsequent question of which (stadium-allowed !) camera to use. How early should we get there, considering we would like to be quite close, but not too close (Special effects/lights etc). 2. Just curious, but if Coldplay were to play Hurts Like Heaven for the AHFOD tour, how were they to start it? Would they have to start the song with Mylo Xyloto so the beginning isn't so abrupt, or would they make a new intro for it. Thoughts, ideas?

I'm going to the show in LA at the Rose Bowl and I'm interested in hearing how people's experiences have been on the tour so far. I'm going to be in the far far back and I'm worried everyone around me won't be too engaged in the show, sitting down, etc. I'd appreciate it if people could leave their reviews here especially those who sat in the far back like I will be seated. Or if anyone could direct towards any previous post on the forums that would be great too. So I've seen Coldplay 3 times live and it's amazing -- I wouldn't want to change it one bit. But I was always curious as to how they used backing tracks and how they coordinated it so well. Obviously the strings in "Viva la Vida", the dulcimer in LIT, the lead in synth to "Violet Hill", etc. are not played by the band. So how are they played, and how does the band synchronize so well with the backing track? Also, how do they coordinate the songs with the lights?

Wanted to get your thoughts on this -- via the Super Bowl Half-Time show (9:30 in). Or maybe even a Fix You -> Up & Up to get a sense of both? I was just floored: Coldplay often has intro -> full song, but never really had two songs collide into each other. Think this should be a one-off? And is anyone else excited for live Up & Up choirs on the tour?

Hello, fellow coldplayers ! Please forgive me if this has been discussed before! Although I have been a fan for 16 years, my dream of seeing them live finally came true in 2012 during the MX tour! It was truly a magical experience! One I will never forget! I loved the stage, lights, confetti , and especially the bands that lit up during different songs! Of course my favorite part was seeing the band I love so much! I have seen many other artists live and Coldplay has been my favorite by far! I'm dying to see them on this tour, unfortunately they are not touring anywhere near me! I would love to hear about your favorite tour!

Hey all, Looking for what people think are the best Coldplay shows? This word 'best' can obviously mean anything but I really dig when Chris changes lyrics, adds new improvs to piano/singing for example Toronto end of Square One. Beginning of Viva La Vida at Glastonbury etc.

Life in Techniolor ii (and the original) is one of, if not my favorite Coldplay song. I've seen the rendition in Live in Toyoko, but other than that I'm pretty sure it was very rarely played. Am I wrong about that? Really think that it would fit in fantastically with the theme of AFHOD -- and would be amazing to see it live again. That and Strawberry Swing need to return desparately from the Viva Era. Any other fans?
