With the announcement today for Ghost Stories, I'm thinking we can probably bank on a tour by the end of the year, if not earlier. This obviously begs the question: What's going to make it on the Set? Therefore, predictions seem plausible. This isn't about what we would want, but rather what could reasonably happen. There's apparently only nine songs on the album, which equal to the number of songs on MX songs that became regular on the last tour. Assuming there will be 1-2 songs they won't perform from this album (historical pattern), let's assume 7 songs make it from GS. We can safely assume that the big 6 (Yellow, The Scientist, Clocks, Fix You, Viva La Vida, and Pa…

And if no one can do this, I will completely understand. This will be the first'tour' that I won't be able to attend, and I have bought a tour shirt every time. I know you can order GS merch from the Coldplay shop, but it's not quite the Same as getting it at a show. If someone can get me a shirt from one of the upcoming shows, I can pay you back either through paypal or an international money order. I give you my word you will be repaid!:)

Hi everybody ! Well, I live in France, and as you know Coldplay's gigs were announced about a month ago. So, I immediately started to book the train and the hostel to travel to Paris, about 600 kilometers away from my home. And then, I was just waiting for the tickets... Waiting, waiting.. But finally I missed the sale, and there were no tickets left. So I started to search resellers, some were selling places for about 750€ each, some were telling me that they wanted to sell me their place, to then ask me to "go f**k myself"... But I finally found a contest, organized by a French radio station, giving away 6x2 tickets. I then played every day, almost 24/24h for about…

Hi, I've just been thinking about Coldplay gigs. I've seen Coldplay live once at Under 1 Roof and had a seat on the back row. As soon as the guys set foot on stage I stood up without a second thought :D I did struggle to see at times though 'cos I'm quite short and a very tsll man stood in front of me :/ (I know he can't help being tall). Anyway, for the next gig I try to get a ticket for I want to be in the standing section! What are people's experiences of this? I'm worried I won't be able to see 'cos I'm quite short and also I don't really fancy getting pushed around (I know us Coldplayers are probably all lovely but you can't help but move around during gigs) but I wo…

New LA announced - Free show from star98.7 A local radio station is giving away tickets this week to a special Coldplay show Friday night at the iHeart Radio studio in Burbank on Friday night. I can't go because I will be in Seattle this weekend for my daughter's soccer tournament. Still hoping to get tickets for Monday night, either through the sale or winning from KROQ. When you go to a typical Coldplay concert at an arena. Not a stadium or a small theatre. But an actual arena.... Is there general admission? Or are there seats everywhere? Even on the floor? If not, how much are front row seats? I've been to Coldplay concerts but always settled for far away :p

Hi Guys, I would just like to inform you that eventim.de is playing a not so clean game. I live in Belgium (work as an IT professional, semi-relevant) and knew beforehand that the ticket sale was going on at 0900 CET. I live in CET, put my alarm to gogo at 8.45, and created my eventim.de account long beforehand. I also asked eventim.de to send me the alarm-mail when the tickets became available, because they themselves never said on their website it was going to be at 0900 CET, however I had that information from coldplay.com, and was definately not going to wait for the alarm mail. So there I am, about 1 hour ago, logged in, hitting the refresh button. Su…

Found an earlier performance of one of my favorite Coldplay songs on the internet today. It was broadcasted over MTV at the $2 Bill theater. I though it was very special, just thought I'd share it.

Hello one and all... newbie here. Anyway, for my first post, I'd like to ask a question about a topic that has probably been discussed to death here previously. However, I'm too lazy to look it up. What is the deal with the keyboards at Coldplay shows? I know Chris occasionally sits behind a keyboard (and Jonny seems to have a little keyboard as well), but it appears that 80% of the time the keyboards are clearly coming from another source- a hidden off-stage keyboardist? A pre-recorded track? A sample triggered by a foot pedal? In any case, as much as I've enjoyed the live shows, this is the one thing that really puts me off- the fact that there is no live key…

Financial reports: Coldplay spent £4.22m on Xylobands for £35m Mylo Xyloto world tour As the Christmas season approaches, we all know the feeling of someone not giving due diligence to the gift that we spent so much on. But Coldplay hope you enjoyed the Xylobands they gave you during the ‘Mylo Xyloto’ tour – because they spent over £4million on them. According to The Mirror this weekend, figures filed on Companies House show that Coldplay reportedly spent approximately £4.22million on Xylobands given out to fans during the Mylo Xyloto world tour. The wristbands, which changed colour in time with the music playing, were made in Devon and invented by Jason Regler. …

Which were the average prices for a front row ticket / or first 5 rows for Coldplay... in US dollars? I saw Bruno Mars 3 months ago and front row was about US$400, I paid about $250 and was in Row 3 center. Sting and Paul Simon are touring together and the front row ticket is US$1,000, but the next couple of rows behind are at about $600 I think. I have already saved $300 for Coldplay if the concert was TOMORROW... where could this land me at? at least in the first 5 rows? Hopefully I'll still have a couple of months to save for even better seats.

Before tour dates are announced (and tickets go on sale) there must be an album released... and before an album is released there's a single released at least 1-2 months before that... At which stage are they currently (as of Nov 2013) on their next album? From I have been able to read they are already recording some music... right? So what does that mean in regards of tour dates and tickets going on sale throughout 2014 (not the actual tour, but the chance to purchase tickets for it)? I would say through the first 8 months of 2014... 0%. From September-December probably a 30%. First half of 2015... 99%. The concerts for that tour taking place on mid 201…

I was wondering on the Mylo Xyloto tour did Guy actually have an MX themed bass guitar? We all know Jonny's guitars, Wills drums and Chris' guitars and piano (even his mic!) were all MX graffiti styled but did Guy? Because it seems he generally just used a red one the whole time.

Right guys I was walking back from Sainsbury's this morning when I had a brilliant idea for when Coldplay go on their next tour.. Basically it's called 'Coldplayers on tour' - in every country that Coldplay gig, all of the Coldplayers that are going to that gig basically go together as one massive unit. It would be up to the Coldplayers in every country to determine what venue they all go to, meeting points etc. and I was thinking this could sprawl onto Twitter as well to get more people to go, with separate pages being run by a designated leader! Here's an example of what it could be like and hopefully this will make sense: Coldplayers in the UK, gig: London Emirat…

After watching a bit of Live in Sydney on Sky last night, I'm reminded that it's nearly 12 months since my last concert. My Coldplay tour genes are starting to itch!! I also require an outdoor date for proper involvement. However, this may be a dangerous ask as the purchasing of tickets for stadium tours seems to result in pregnancy :laugh3:

So I watched live concerts from 2001, then 2003, then 2006, then 2008, then 2012 (not in one day :P), and I noticed that Chris didn't just go from awkward to awesome. He had little changes. For example, in 2001, he was pretty confident and he talked to the crowd quite a bit. He also was in a smaller venue as well. In 2003, he was nervous, but in control. In 2006, there was this massive change that seemed to happen somewhere in between the two tours. He is way more confident and starts his signature awkward dances:lol:. In 2008, he is very talkative with the crowd, less pumped then 2006. He almost seems really relaxed. And then in 2012, well, he goes back to being v…

So I only really discovered how incredible, inspiring and amazing Coldplay are during their MX world tour (by which time it was sold out) and was so annoyed at myself! So does anyone have an idea of when they might have another concert in the UK?
