November 3, 20196 yr I’m not a Spotify user but I have it I cannot figure out how to listen to the song lol it plays like 5 seconds
November 3, 20196 yr That's amazing. Can't wait to hear! The live act is usually at the end, right? Yes but they sometimes won’t show both performance on tv.
November 3, 20196 yr It seems like we've now had...experimental Coldplay (Arabesque), pop Coldplay (Orphans) and well...Coldplay (Everyday Life).
November 3, 20196 yr Was that "CONSCIOUS PILOT" on Chris's guitar strap?!? Still need to listen to Everyday Life, gonna wait and see if they indeed play it later in the show.
November 3, 20196 yr So nice to see the boys back in full form! It seems this new era will be pretty raw
November 3, 20196 yr The strings reminded me so much of the ones in Hypnotised, indeed both are mesmerizing songs
November 3, 20196 yr the new track is very meh. it just doesn’t go anywhere or do much of anything, and the message and “hook“ are very on the nose. however i think it’s gonna make way more sense in context since it’s the last track of the record. i’m suspecting the second to last track is bombastic and all that was expected to happen at the end of everyday life and then everyday life closes out the album in a short/sweet and refreshing way. don’t know why they released this as a single though.
November 3, 20196 yr It's going to be such a sad album! Guess it mirrors the current state of the world.
November 3, 20196 yr Haven't listened to the studio version of Everyday Life yet, but it sounded great live. It ended so abruptly though... I was expecting something more like the ending of What If after that last chorus. It's a sweet song, and it does sound very Oldplay if you ask me.
November 3, 20196 yr It's pretty but honestly it doesn't really do much for me so far (especially live:()

November 3, 20196 yr So music video for Everyday Life, assuming it IS the big hit single and not the partner one?
November 3, 20196 yr It feels on the nose at first, but I didn't get until a couple listens that I think this is about when things are so terrible, when you are suffering, to be able to return to normal, everyday life would be so beautiful.
November 3, 20196 yr I don't understand why they would release everyday life as a single either. Feel like even Arabesque would fair better. And usually the second single is the big single from every album. If this is the big defining single for this era, maybe the rest of the songs are not that radio friendly.
November 3, 20196 yr Not sure why there are so many negative reactions to Everyday Life on here, I think its a beautiful song. And its exactly what we needed after the experimental Arabesque and the modern Coldplay Orphans.
November 3, 20196 yr Who cares about how it performs as single? Cause you know who doesn't? Coldplay. They chose to release this song now because it obviously is special to them. Think people are missing the essence of the song for what it is. As for the song not having a big ending, they have done that plenty of times. Have you forgotten that they don't like repeating themselves? Sticking to the same formula with song structures gets boring after a while. Everyday Life is beautiful. I love it!
November 3, 20196 yr It is indeed a beautiful song. But after listening to it - at least as a single - it does feel something else comes after or something is missing. Moreover, from its beginning, one can assume that Champion of the World will be a banger.
