Now I'd been contemplating all day whether on not there was a possibility that the "suprise" may well be shooting the video for Christmas lights.... ...who's going to put Christmas Lights back into their listening rotation? I know I will. :D I won't forget about Mylo Xyloto, though... it isn't even a month old, after all. I'm still very much listening to the whole album often.

Never understood why this album gets so much criticism? Particularly on here. In my opinion it is brilliant and has some of Coldplay's most beautiful moments like Fix You, What If and Twisted Logic. I think it's a very powerful album. Anyone care to give their opinion? Interested to hear them...

Sorry if this was already posted, but I noticed that the US iTunes has finally put up a lot more of the Coldplay b-sides! They added the Yellow EP, the Shiver EP, the In My Place EP, the Scientist EP, and the LITii EP! :dance: iTunes has also lowered the prices of all the albums. Viva la Vida and Live 2003 are now $7.99, and Parachutes, X&Y, and A Rush of Blood to the Head are now $6.99. Unfortunately, they still haven't added the real Talk b-sides, but it's a start! :awesome:

I was at the mall the other day and heard a version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." I would know Chris Martin's voice anywhere and it was definitely him singing it! So my questions are: why in the world can I not find it to download it?! And has anyone else heard Coldplay's version of this song? Thanks for any replies :D

In the Howard Stern interview, Chris told he gets 40% while the rest of the band get 20% each. I was always under the impression that they all got an equal share of the $$$ (25% for those of you who failed math class! :P); afterall, it's something that they'd been saying all along. Tell us how you feel about this.

I know all Coldplay songs are credited to every member of the band (and rightfully so as they all have input) but I know Chris starts most of the songs and such. Does anyone know any songs that Guy, Jonny, or Will mostly wrote. I know Will wrote Sweet Marianne, but that's all I know. I just think it'd be cool to compare there writing styles.

Hello everyone, I'm hoping I can get a little help from some of you. I am doing a speech for school, and the speech is on, Why might people like live music better than the studio version? So if you could be so helpful and answer my question. Tell me if you do like live music and why? And if you could give me one reason why it might not be a good thing. I know a lot of you enjoy live music. Of course, just looking at all the media updates I know. So please and thank you. Also share an experience. Maybe one at a Coldplay show. Why might you like live music better than the studio version? (could also like studio version but would still appreciate an opinion)

I have been wondering about this since reading it in an article somewhere. I can't remember which article, but when asked about why he picked Rihanna to duet with over Beyonce or someone else. Chris mentioned that he had written a song for Beyonce and her managmenet didn't use it, but he wrote one for Rihanna and she did use it. After hearing the cover of We Found Love I wondered if it was that one. Any ideas?

I made a thread a while ago like this. Now here's another one, updated to include the theme for Mylo Xyloto. I don't know how you guys feel, but I really like the aesthetic for Mylo Xyloto. It's like a modernized version of the VLV theme, which was a pretty cool concept in the first place.

so I have the vinyls for all of the albums and they're unopen, should I open them? Cause if I do it loses quality but if I do I get cd's and posters, oh and no, I do not intended of using them in a record player it's only a collection
