One of my favourite bands, probably in the top ten, maybe even five!!! Absolutely love Marc Bolan. Hits include: Bang A Gong (Get It On) I Love To Boogie Ride A White Swan Cosmic Dancer Just to name a few. Bolan really was ahead of his time in my opinion. Absolutely legendary band!! It started as Harry and Alfie, and now they're Hudson Taylor! Their songs are usually heavily based on acoustic guitar. It may sound a bit repetitive at times but I think they have some nice tunes! I guess I'll throw this in this board because I think it is most applicable here. I am a novice musician. I play piano, and I really enjoy playing, and I have a loooooooooooooooooong way to go in my journey before I am ever that great at it. Though I am proud of where I came from -- I started at 18, and I am proud to say I can play most Coldplay songs as they were played on the albums. I absolutely adore Parachutes. I listen to it at night and it helps me get to sleep. Although I love all their other albums, i like parachutes the most because of how relaxed it is. So my question is do you know any other albums or even artists that sound like parachutes?

I finally saw her live this a few of weeks ago and was just blown down. Such a voice! Her song and album The Brothel's done pretty well in Norway, which high profile music is mostly reserved for the mainstream, Eurovision CDs and, God forbid, folkerock.
