White Lies is my new favorite band. Since seeing them at The Empty Bottle in Chicago, and then again at Lollapalooza and then a third time at The Mercury Lounge - they might just be one of the best newer bands out there. Has anyone else heard of/heard Vampire Weekend? Despite this being a very Coldplay week and me listening to them quite a bit, I can't stop playing Vampire Weekend's self-titled album. I think it's fabulous. Anyone else a fan? I can't get enough of them!

My favorite band form the sixties-seventies. They are so creative, and so catchy, very good blend of hard rock and pop, very good music. Right now Anemia City In The Sky is my favorite by them, but Tommy is my favorite album.

I was watching a great TV show tonight about The Beacon Theater in NYC and it made me think of all the wonderful venues I have been to. So many incredible memories of all the shows I have been to over the years. I LOVE Madison Square Garden, Radio City, The Beacon and of course the Divine on the water Jones Beach.
