Another interesting thing people, perhaps I'm the first who has noticed it. :huh2: I've listened very carefully to the following performances of A Sky Full Of Stars and I am convinced that some parts (if Chris has to reach the high notes) are not live, which is almost the same thing we have with Clocks. Here are some examples: (Read first) In this video you'll hear that the first lines Chris is singing live (... 0:38), because he doesn't sing it as good as we are used to. But when he starts singing the higher notes (0:41 --- 1:08) you'll see/hear that it's recorded from another ASFOS performance (probably from 2014), it sounds much better and if you look at his b…

What's good for a song closer live? It used to be Fix You for the longest time, before that it was Amsterdam and way before that (Could you figure that out, I think it was See You Soon?) And with now Fix You is no longer as the song closer, which is replaced by Up&Up, I find both have unique differences why both fit in, although I sometimes miss Fix You being the ending because it literally sums up about...everything. I cant specifically describe how 'everything' will lead to but with the matter of tunes, it fits very well that goes with the piano and the meaning of the song itself imo. Thoughts?

After Coldplay revealed that they are taking song requests from their fans for their forthcoming 'A Head Full Of Dreams' tour (source: http://www.nme.com/news/coldplay/90459) i have some ideas how maybe the Stadium Tour will be: - At the check in to the concert, you can give your song request via smartphone to a central office /or a passport photobooth there. - request consists of: name, photo, songrequest, your purpose - after they play there standard setlist, there will be an interactive show (on screens) - they pick "randomly" (or unfortunately maybe they only pick songs they learned to play live very well) your song request and it will be shown on the displays i…

I wasn't sure where was the best place for this, but I wanted to have a place to discuss how bloody great the live backdrop to Politik was at the first Buenos Aires show. If they release it as a music video or some kind of activism thing (have they already?) I think the impact would be amazing. The explosions in rhythm with the music, then the inspirational images at "give me love over this", and then the explosions in reverse at the end. It's superb! It reminds me of the alternate music video for Violet Hill (dancing politicians) and the live backdrop for Lovers in Japan.
