Hi all, I got a weird question :D When I go to a Coldplay concert, I am always so overwhelmed that everything seems to pass in a flash and after the show I have virtually no recollection of what happened in the last hours. It happened to me twice now, and after the first time (Today show concert) I thought it was because I was sick and tired and filmed too much. But the second time (MetLife, first night) I was alright and I took care only to film some highlights and live more in the moment. Still I could hardly remember any details after the concert. If I could go back and witness any Coldplay era and also go to a show, I would go back to the Mylo Xyloto era because I see so much beauty in that album and time of the band's career. I know im not the first to ask this but ive been on a roll of coldplay interviews after the show and chris has mentioned beyonce in every single one i think. I dont get it, coldplay pulls way more people but he kind of talks about it in a underdog perspective. Why? Also, all the superbowl shots on her instagram are her in the middle, half of chris etc and it pissed me off. But no hate im just curious

i had one last night where there was a cp show coming up really soon and i hadnt heard a darn thing about it and didnt have tickets and i was freaking out and it was advertised like this "Coldplay.$40.small intimate atmosphere"and thats it..

I was at the school talent show in 8th grade, my best friend's band played All Along the Watchtower, Layla, and YELLOW!! I immediately loved the song, and my best friend sang it perfectly. I then spent all summer listening to their songs online, and finally got Parachutes for Christmas 2 years ago. How about you?

All in all just any piece of advice given by the band ;) (I'm not good at writing these kind of texts and this is my first thread, so I'll try to keep it short) So I thought it would be cool to have a thread where we can gather some of the wisdom Coldplay shares with us on how to be a good person and live a happy life :D This could be for example things like the contents of Rumi-poem, Charlie Chaplin's speech, the muhammad Ali speech (during the concert) or just things the guys tend to say during shows/interviews. To be honest, hearing the Scientist backwards (along with the video) is really fun. But the song kind of sounds sadder when it's backwards but the video looks weird when going forwards instead of backwards! That's some twisted logic right there :laugh1: Here's the link to the video backwards!

I've always tried over the years to emulate the look of the band at certain gigs or for certain albums, it was all about long sleeve white t-shirts for AROBTTH and then all in black except for white trainers, red and blue gaffer tape around the fingers and a Make Trade Fair symbol on the hand (yeah I did that!) for X&Y.
