I just don't see it's appeal, I'm so pleased they gave it to Embrace, cos there's no way it would've been good enough for X&Y. It's just boring, like Embrace really, so I guess it was perfect for them.

We may as well start a thread about this, now that we know its going to be the 4th single. I'm wondering if we'll get one or two b-sides. My greatest hope is that Ladder to the Sun makes it on there!! I love that song sooo much, and I would be really upset if they didn't release it as one! I thought X and Y was a phenomenal album, but U2 is U2. I think they really deserved it. Their album was really meaningful. Im not saying that X and Y wasnt, but idk, its just something I can't put my finger on. Let me know. the bottom line is U2 is U2

Crhis Martin Said in an enterview that after this album (X&Y), they'll do the best rock album ever made, but them in the Brit Awards he said that they are gonna take some years to have more time with their families and then start making their 4th album So, Do we have to wait several years for that?? I wish not :) :cool: What do you think?

which is it to be? You woiuld have thought Mr Shiver's polls can only take up so much space onone forum but the flow seems to be never-ending, so I thought a poll should be set up in his honour. Hello: I have a doubt: is the single version of the following songs the same comparing to their album versions?: 1-Shiver 2-Yellow 3-Trouble 4-Don´t Panic 5-In My Place 6-The Scientist 7-God Put A Smile Upon Your Face Because I already know that the Clocks, Speed Of Sound, Fix You and Talk single versions are different from the respective albums, for they are radio edit or video edit versions. I was just watching Grey's Anatomy and they played In The Sun studio version, there was a part that sounded alot like Chris Martin. It was the same part he sung solo on Austin City limits. Did Chris do a studio recording with REM of In The Sun?
