What is Mr.Berryman's best Bassline?? my vote is God Put A Smile Upon Your Face but they are all quality in my eyes

I don't understand many things that Chris says during the Live 2003 gig, cos he speaks too fast...some things I understand, but sometimes he speaks so fast that I don't get it... Could you write his words all along the concert, if you know ém and if you don't find it boring to do? Thank you.

So, I stumbled upon the website songmeanings.net and so I did the obvious and looked up Coldplay... Now, I was just reading some of the comments, and I came about the comment on the song "Proof"....someone thinks that this song was written for Apple or Gwenyth...and seeing as Gwenyth was in the movie "Proof".... Ok, the question is, does anyone know if it was specifically written for someone? Or not? I love this song by the way...a beautiful song it is...:)

Just wondering what coldplay songs people like to hear live and why? Mine has to be the scientist and fix you! just amazing! My favorite performance is from the mtv vma's 2003. They played the scientist, was a short ending and chris dedicated it to johnny cash! For me it was the most perfect performance from a great band live, and they made it look so easy!

Where does 'See you soon' come from? IS it a B-Side? I only got to know that song when I bought the Live 2003 DVD.... Thank you in advance.

Okay - so it's summer, and a bunch of my friends and I are bored. We're all sorta hoping to go to film school, so we figure "Hey, we might want to get our little portfolio going..." So we want to do a music video for How You See the World (the first one; not the war child one). But the thing is... we sit and sit and bits and pieces pop into our heads, but nothing for a full video for the song. So if you guys have any ideas: that'd be great. We'd, of course, credit you in the video.

Just wondering if anyone's favorite song on X and Y is not Fix You. I love that song, but for me, I think it takes second place to A Message.

I'm sure it's been posted, but I only just saw on the Coldplay site as my internet's been down for a while - they're releasing The Hardest Part in a select few countries. I don't have a problem with this, as long as our country's included..WHICH IT ISN'T!! Maybe I'm just getting this wrong, but come on guys..you're an English band - release the damn single in your own country first and foremost! Geez.

Given the quality of some B-Sides, it's not hard to imagine that a few of them maybe belong on the original album. Question is, which one? So I propose a nice little discussion. Take a B-Side from each album, and replace one of the album tracks with it. What would YOUR choices be? Should be interesting to see responses, no? My picks: Parachutes - "For You" replaces "High Speed". I'd like to see "For You" at the end, but "Everything's Not Lost" is just too good. AROBTTH - "I Ran Away" replaces "A Whisper". Not my favorite Rush B Sides, but it would fit nicely into that point in the album. X&Y - "Things I Don't Understand" replaces "Square One". "Th…

I was listening to Spies a while ago and I scratched my head over it. What if Spies was a tribute to Orwell's 1984? The lines about being a fugitive may refer to being one who commits a thoughtcrime or something like that and the "spies" may be members of the Party. *SPOILERS AHEAD* The song, if this is true, alternates from a first person to a second person view, the second person view being the chorus and bridge. I love these two songs. Twisted logic, next to Square One, is Coldplay's hardest hitting song on X&Y in my opinion, and its got that whole space-ish sound to it. How You See The World, on the other hand, has a little political anger in its guitars, and the desperate tone of the lyrics really makes this one stand out. If you could choose between these two songs, or which one is a better choice to have been put on X&Y, which one would you choose? Personally, How You See The World has a little more depth and form to me, and its extremely explosive ;). But of course, i love them both.

To my mind, the A rush of blood to the head artcover is perfect, it's one of the best artworks I've ever seen in my life;it's such a paranoid and schizophreniac picture! Don't you think? Now the point is, what is that supposed to represent, if it is supposed to represent something at all??

Why is this the only thing that'll show on any of the lyrics sites I've tried (including this one)? You only live twice (taken from the Dont Panic single) How you see the world (First version taken from X&Y Japan edition) PLEASE!!!
