Okay, I haven't found another topic like this, so here goes. In the first verse someone else is singing. A really deep, strange voice. I can't place it, and it's killing me. Please tell if you know.

Well from all the news i gather the album might not come out in march after all but if it doesn't then hopefully the band is using the extra time to spiff it up and make it a bonafide smash (that we of course know it will be) so does anyone have any news on what kind of tour they are planning? i read on some site that they would start in europe? is that credible? any ideas on the size of the venues this time around, personally i hope they don't go too big, i saw them last go round in a small one and it was awesome. oh and does any one know of why in the download section it would ask you for a password and such? it was not being friendly with me when i was tryi…

When I first saw this it really shocked me, so I was just going to let everyone know that there is no proof of this and it is simply a feud between Ian and Albie taken to the extreme. :o. http://forum.coldplaying.com/viewtopic.php?t=14073&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=45

Hopefully you have all seen the COLDPLAY COMEBACK story on the main page, but here is the newest infor: Tracks which are expected to appear on the record include ‘Square One’, ‘Talk’, ‘Till Kingdom Come’, ‘X&Y’, ‘The Hardest Part’. Drummer Will Champion has also touted a new track enetitled ‘What If?’ as a possible single, telling the BBC, “I think it’s one to watch out for in my opinion". Some of these track titles sound quite interesting. "X&Y" sounds like a very unusual sort of name for coldplay, while the others just show a new direction. I really like the name "Square One" could it possibly be the opener Mr. Champion was talking about? Whatever the o…

I don't if anybody read this on the main page, but if you didn't now you can From NME... New Coldplay Track Descriptions Posted on: Jan 16, 2005 - 11:26 AM by busybeeburns Square One: Probable first single. Built around a subtle electronic drum beat reminiscent of Brian Eno or Berlin-period Bowie, the song builds into a huge chorus featuring massive guitars and organ. Like Radioheads Paranoid Android it's perplexing on the first listen and appears to go off on different tangents, but after a few spins it sounds like their most ambitious and possibly best song yet. What If: Starting with a simple piano, a fragile-sounding Chris sings, " What if you de…

I remember in one of the articles, it was mentioned that they had about 14 or 15 tracks that they we're thinking about putting on the new album. I started thinking of which ones would be on the album, and this is what I got: The first 6 already announced: 1.x and Y 2.The Hardest Part 3.Til Kingdom Come 4.Talk 5.What If 6.Square One And then other possiblities 7.Moses 8.One I Love 9.Marianne or Sweet Marianne 10.Solid Ground 11.Proof 12.Poor Me 13.Idiot 14.Ladder To The Sun 15.No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground I might be missing some, or maybe some of the ones I picked won't ever be on the album. IMO, I think they should give us a new album wit…

I just want to say that I am a huge Coldplay fan and have listened to every song they have released and I have to say that Gravity is my all time favorite without question. The piano is simple, but at the same time brilliant. As of now, it is just Chris playing solo (at least in the version I have heard), but it still rocks. I think that if the song ever makes it to an album, the rest of the boys will add something to it, kinda like how Amsterdam started only Chris but eventually included the whole band. Anyway, just wanted to make sure a damn good song was appreciated to the extent that it should be. Also, what is everyone's interpretation for what the lyrics are all …

It was said on many of the websites that Coldplay are using the riff from Kraftwerks "Computer Love".I had a listen to the song of Kraftwerk to kinda get an idea of what it sounds like.I myself like the riff and think that with the talent of Chris and the guys, that they will and most likely have worked their magic and have made a pretty good song to the riff. The song also might give you a little idea of what to expect on the new album as said they are goin for a little bit of a 70s electronica sound, but still Coldplay ya know? But anyways i like the riff an expect this to be a good one.You all should have a listen and download it somewhere!

We have heard from many sources that the new album is not done, even from the band members themselves. But how close are we talking? Are they still recording, still deciding between those final tracks, or are they deciding a tracklist and doing final artwork? I know we have been hearing a few bits of news but nothing really official, and I am really starting to wonder how far off this album really is. I know it's for a great cause, but Chris going to Ghana for Oxfam while the band still isn't done the album just doesn't seem right to me. Has anyone else been thinking this?

As everyone should have seen on the main page, Chris Martin has said that this may be Coldplay's last album. But he also said that they will never top this. They are so overly critical that he said they may not even finish this album if it is not shop worthy. We must all remember he said the same thing after A Rush Of Blood To The Head. I'm starting to wonder what to believe from his words. You can never tell if he is dead serious, or just saying it. It would be disasterous for the band to break up. I know we all really anticipate this album, and hopefully it won't be their last because they have so many years ahead of them.
