Hi all =) I was just browsing through this excellent site when I came across the album cover for the Taiwan version of RoBttH. This is what I'm referring to: Don't know if anyone had brought it up before, but I didnt find anything similar through the "search" function, so here goes. Just a little something to share with the folks here. Look at the equivalent chinese characters for Coldplay [酷玩] (you might have to switch your browser encoding to "Chinese Simplified" to see the characters) Actually, my guess is that these came about from a mix of both phoenics and meaning. The first - 酷 [ku4] ("koo") traditionally refered to the strength of wine. This ch…

Hi, does anybody have any piano music for Poor Me (or has listened to it, worked it out and learnt how to play it). It is a new coldplay song that they have only played live a couple of times, but in my opinion, it is the best song they have ever composed (apart from the classics - Amsterdam, The Scietist etc.) If anybody can help me, please e-mail me at: [email protected] Cheers! Sam

So we have heard from debs that the album title is not the one that has been leeked (im assuming Zero Theory) and that she did not even recognize a few of the track titles (hence why a message was not on the list perhaps?). Berrychen has also went so far to say that it's almost guaranteed the album will be out in May. We know from EMI that it won't be out until the new fiscal year of April. So I am guessing from all this that we still don't know specifics about titles (tracks or album) and also we will have to wait until at least April, probably May, and possibly even June for the new album.

Given the band's well documented love of Radiohead, Chris's comments last year (something like they are going to "reinvent the wheel" - although i know they have slightly retracted this now) and the fact they have ditched Ken Nelson could Coldplay's third album be a complete change of direction, like Kid A. And if it was, how would people feel about that.

Hello! Quick question for all you people. I've never been more obsessed with a band than I am with Coldplay, in fact, I've never been much of a fan for music at all. I know the third album is being released soon, but when do singles normally get released to get the "word buzzing"? And how will we know when a single IS released? Just by listenting to the radio? Which is one of their supportive radio stations in the US? Secondly, when and where do we find out about tour dates. I need to know cause I am DEFINITELY not missing them when they are in my town. Ciao.

Yeah, I beleive I have a re-press or whatever of this EP. The song, Brothers and Sisters is different then the one on the UK version. I like the UK Version better. :) btw, Easy to Please is so weirdly cool. Does anyone know what's up with the voices playing through the song with reverb?

I found this in the news, one columnists opinion. "Brilliant Song. I'm quite sure it's about death though. I seem to remember Chris Martin saying that it was initially put aside for the third (main) album due to its rather sad theme but then due to other songs being removed from the final cut (Animal etc?) it was placed in instead. I think this song will probably mirror the third album's progression." I however do not think it will show much of the third album sound. First of all, Clocks was a very unique song and it is just......very different. Also it has been a VERY long time since they wrote this song, I mean pre-AROBTTH is like 3 years ago now. So just wante…

I found this article on a website from a little while ago: Does this mean that old songs will be back on the new record, I dont think so. But it does mean they were considering it. Also, I find it hilarious that Ken Nelson thought the new album was going to be better than AROBTTH and then they scrapped it! The band is in a Liverpool, England, studio with Nelson working on 11 new songs, some of which were played during their last tour (see "Coldplay Enter London Studio To Begin Work On Third Album"). In a month, Coldplay will move to Air Studios in London to continue working on the album. No release date is scheduled. "They want to take their time to m…
