After the commercial and artistic success of “Mylo Xyloto”, it was going to take a seriously good record to follow in its footsteps. After three years of anticipation, Coldplay fans were treated to “Ghost Stories”, a nine track album (12 tracks if you purchase the Target bonus track album which I am reviewing) featuring the previously released hit singles “Magic” and “A Sky Full of Stars”. I currently own all of the Coldplay Guitar Recorded books for all of the albums and I was wondering if anybody knew exactly how long after an album is released that the Hal Leonard music books are released? P.S. Also does Coldplay help with the tabs or are there just guitar experts who decipher the music accurately and tab it out themselves?

Every Coldplay album provokes wildly different and at times opposing reactions amongst fans and critics, particularly after X&Y. This album however seems to have divided people more than their other albums, similar to what we witnessed after Mylo Xyloto was released. But I for one absolutely love this album and the era as a whole and the connection I feel with the songs is unparalleled. Hello all. With the Ghost Stories era being officially over, I thought I would post an animation I did for Ghost Stories. It is the final project for my animation class. We were able to animate anything we want, so I thought it would be cool and fitting to animate the Ghost Stories album cover. We had to make it one minute long and add sound to it, so I made a one minute version of ASFOS and animated everything to that. I separated the sky, stars, ocean, and the wings in order to create it. Hey guys, so recently i watched the sky arts interview about the TV special that just aired and I noticed that they showed a track list that included songs we haven't heard. They showed a behind the scenes video from back in 2013 and Chris had written out the track list at the time for ghost stories and it included "atlas" as well as two songs we don't know about called "the race" and "world without you" (which looks like it used to be called "tomorrow") Just found this interesting, and also wondered if we will ever hear them!
