So I heard that this cd had Animals and Crest of Waves... I was excited to get it so I ran to the cd store and found it. I was very pleansantly surprised when it ALSO included a live version of Yellow done only with chris on piano (very cool!) and a live version of in my place. How cool is that? I was surprised anyway. How many people have heard that Yellow on piano? Damn good...

well, i was having bad day today at school and then i came home and the scientist was on mtv! that's the first time i've ever seen it on tv, i've only ever watched it online. anyways, despite almost having a heart attack from being so surprised to see it, it made my day a whole lot better. woohoo :D

:shrug: I just watched the post-game show for the Super Bowl last night, and Coldplay played. And they played Yellow. Now, I never used to really think of it as one of my faves. But the stage prescence that Chris emitted turned me around totally. Now its probably one of my top 3 fave songs by Coldplay. Is it wrong for it to be one of my faves, even though it was terrible overplayed, and their big hit. :shrug:

This second record of Coldplay is very impressive because parachutes has already been a great success but to my mind, this second one is harder and better than parachutes in spite of its quality. I remind of the first time I have heard the album, I was very happy and satisfied because this record is fantastic, politik is very emotional, in my place, a future classic song; clocks a very inspired song.... with this second record, Coldplay has become a greater rock band, the press has really enjoyed a rush of blood to the head, particularly in France because the band is very popular over there and has been very famous since parachutes. My new baby Emmy was obviously plagued in utero with the album as it never left the cd player and it was the only thing that soothed my nausea. The new album was played at the birth (by accident as it happened, the emergency midwife had only Gareth Gates or Vengaboys as alternatives) so she now sleeps whenever she hears the voice or music of Coldplay, very handy while out shopping, as it is now so frequently heard...
