me voted for AROBTTH ive heard parachutes a lot b4 a rush came out i still listen to it but i get more and more into a rush.. share your opinions with me! :D

it looks like god put a smile upon your face is gonna be the next single... so whats your opinion about it?

sound really lame now when you listen to it? when it first came out, i was truly obsessed with this track. i love it so much. played it all the time. i thought i'd never get sick of it. now after hearing all of coldplay's other songs now i don't find it has the power it once had! lol. am i alone when i say this?

me personally thinks this album is better then parachutes. a while new sound and songs with more meaning! i really love this album and offcourse i love parachutes but this one is definetely better in my opinion! :)

this song gives me so much motivation..the lyrics are AMAZING and i never tire of hearing it. chris' voice is so meaningful and he sings with so much passion ; his whole heart and soul are in this song this is why i love coldplay :D

I think it's the bestest!!!!!! song on the album! Oh well! And The Scientist too! And Amsterdam! And Clocks! But, that's not the point! The point is that I love Politik coz it's so energetic and I can always see Chris playing, well, more like banging the piano, playing the song! Aah, flashbacks! Anyways, point IS, excellent song!

Sandra Collins dropped a very cool mix of Clocks towards the end of her set in Kansas City recently (she was opening for Paul Oakenfold). It was NOT the Royksopp mix. It started off with just the beginning few bars repeated a few times before going into weird effects and then back to the (mostly) original track. Very cool buildup at the end with lots of effects... Any ideas? anyone? I know there's some crappy mixes floating around, but this was very good and worth tracking down if anyone can find it for us all to share! Bob in KC, USA [email protected]

Ok, this has been asked many times on the other MB but this is a new one here so throw me some frigging bones :wink: My favourite song on the new album at the moment is the title track, closely followed by Politik, Clocks and Amsterdam........... although this is sure to change by tomorrow coz the whole fucking thing is fantastic innit? :P

Ok, I've been looking on Kazza and downloading "Animals" but I can't seem to find one that isn't live. Is there even one floating around? :? Live is good, but you can miss things which are apprant in recorded versions. Like, "A Rush of Blood to the Head" is great live, but its more dramatic when you listen to it from the album. Anyways, if anyone knows where I can get a non-live version of "Animals", please post, and I will love you for ever! (or until I get my song! :lol: )

What song on Parachutes do you NOT like!!

has anyone else noticed that typically all critics praise this song as one of the album highlights, but among coldplay fans it is one of the least popular? what do you make of that? I, personally, like the song a lot. It's not a favorite, but I do really dig it.

Maybe...its be a big hit..we americans are sappy suckers :D
