Has anybody managed to get this yet...Virgin HMV and various bookstores says there is a delay on it for some reason... also there is a delay on the gpasuyf DVD ...... I bought the single ...then had to buy it again for the four track .... so whos managed to get the book? dvd single?

parachutes is such an incredible album that i can't believe the same band even made rush of blood. GOD i love parachutes.

so what's the correct story about this video? I've heard from reliable sources that the other members were not in the vid cuz of the weather and whatnot. But I also heard that is was cuz Will's mum passed away that day. which is the truth?

Just wondered if any one else could pick out the creaking piano stool on "the scientist" and "politik"? Or is it my imagination?

It's Politik for me...the ending is way toooooooo beautiful :)

Now calm down and read this carefully. Chris MArtin is not god. The Scientist is not the most beautiful song ever. AROBTTH is over rated. REASONS the scientist starts lovely but johnny or whatever the guitarists name is just turns it into a dirge half way through. Could he not do something more imaginative than just strum in time to the piano. (This is exactly what lets Yellow down. It is so boring.) Listen to No Surprises by Radiohead and see what can be done with a simple melody. Politik is a strong opener, In My Place relies to much on production and the rest is simply run of the mill indie. I just made a discovery. Saw an advert for a compilation CD earlier called Piano Moods... it's full of classical music (duh), but the advert used a clip of Clocks..and it sounded slightly different. I've been a busy little beaver, searched around a bit, and have got my hands on the copy included on the CD. It's Clocks...but not as we know it. Completely instrumental. The piano plays throughout the whole song, and there are no drums/guitars/vocals. Its an interesting one.. I can see it growing on me.
