I'm guessing that after their fourth album is released, a "Very Best of Coldplay" CD will go into the works. Well, we here on Coldplaying.com are going to beat them to it, bwa ha! So... let's start with nominations from Parachutes.

Since I live in the US where no one releases CD single anymore, I always feel like I'm missing out on some great B-sides. Could someone please sum up all the B-Sides from the UK singles of "Speed Of Sound" "Fix You" and "Talk"? Which ones should I try to hunt down?

I'd like to know, what do you think, about the meaning of twisted logic lyrics?? I've read that it's strongly related to ecology and mother Earth etc....(and it makes sense) but I have the feeling that it is not only about it. What do you think??

Listening to "A Message" today I noticed some weird effect and was wondering if anyone knew what it was. On your computer, ipod, whatever, go to about 2:43 and listen during the part "You're the Target that I'm aiming at". It sounds like some insane ringer for a cell phone or something, anyone have any ideas??

"Twisted Logic" reminded me of The Beatles's "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" from Abbey Road the first time I heard it. Anybody else feel this way too? Am I just stating the obvious? Was that the intention? List Coldplay songs that remind you of others if you dare. I understand the hesitation.

Musically, I love this song; it may be one of the best Coldplay's done. Probably not, but it's still pretty good. However, the lyrics are sooooooooo out of place. I was listening to it this morning, and I couldn't help but smile and be happy. Then I realized the words, "the hardest part was letting go not taking part / you really broke my heart" They don't fit in with the bouncy happiness of the song at all. I almost had to laugh at the thought of what Chris was on when he decided to do this.

Do you guys remember how excited we all were before X&Y came out?Well i know i was and im sure everyone else was excited to hear the new stuff and when Talk leaked and everything leading up to the release.With the couple tracks leaked from the LA gig.Probably a pointless post but i was just listening to the LA show when they performed the new tracks for only like the 2nd time live.And i jut rememberd how excited i was and couldnt wait to hear the new album and how much hyped this album was.It was like Coldplay were everywhere being talked about which was cool.But yea just remembering and wondered if you guys felt the same.

While surfing the web recently, I've learned that many people find Chris and his lyrics to be a little ridiculous, and his line "birds go flying at the speed of sound to you where it all began" in "Speed of Sound" is the latest lyric that seems responsible. One person huffed condescendingly, "To show us exactly what, Chris?" Neither Chris or his lyrics are ridiculous. I don't think I've ever seen a photographer that has better defined a band and helped them to achieve the image that they were aiming towards.
